Like you to meet… little Wolf

Yes, you might not believe it, but we have a Wolf in our dogpark! 😉 Hahaha, at least we have there a dog called Wolf. We call him Wolfje = Little Wolf… Oh, mum says I should say ‘she’, she thinks that Wolfje is a doggie-girl.

Never mind, he, she… if we can play it’s more than okay! And play? Yes, we can! Wolfje can climb too and I share my tree when Wolfje is there! We even share it with the dad of Jazzy when he is in the dogpark, because we love her dad!! (We get treats, you know, at least sometimes…)

So today Wolfje and I were playing, as we did before. This time the blinking box was quick enough to get good pictures because Wolfje always moves and moves quickly… too quickly for a good fototoot, that’s what mum says… 😉 But she always has to say something, you know, about the pics… 😉

Update about… this and that!

Friday, so today grandpa Lennox and dad were in the dogpark too! Good news!Dad made some pics showing how heigh my tree is! Aha, no selfies today, but real pictures! 😉 You see, my tree is high!! And my mum almost can’t reach me when I’m all up there! 🙂

When we came home mum said the geraniums are real good flowers and that she would give them some treats! I was ready for treats too! You bet, I was ready! Well, that was a real disappointment! Flowers only got water! 😦 Mum says the treats are in the water and they are feeding the geraniums.
I prefer real treats I can chew on! What do you say mum? Geraniums don’t chew on things… Well, they must have a boring life, that’s for sure! 😉

Newsflash!… Mum forgot Gotcha-day!

Yesterday Grandpa Lennox told me that he should have a good talk with mum, if he was in my place. How that? He said he thought mum forgot about my Gotcha-day! How is that possible?! So, I got that talk with my mum!
I asked her if today is maybe the 21st of March? No? When is it then, this 21st of March? And then… mum realised that she forgot my Gotcha-day! My dogness, how can that be possible? Grandpa said: I told you!!!
Mum felt a bit guilty, I think, because she bought me a new toy!

The toy does not squeek 😦 but it should give cracking sounds… Did not find out the good technique yet! Started chewing… Not for that purpose, mum said! And then, we invented a new game! I think my overseas friends call it tug-o-war or something like that…
Mum and me, we both got an end of the toy and pulled! Fun!!! Then mum said: Leave it! 😦 I was not happy about that, but I did. I had to sit and stay! And mum walked away…

The she yells: YES! And I could run and start the pulling again! We did that a million times! I was so thrilled every waiting time, my dogness! It was so much fun that I forgot to be bored and stubborn! And I was so tired when we stopped playing that I even did not bark to protest! 🙂 Mum says we start again tomorrow!

Blinking box was playing too, but the results are not too good.. 😦 Anyway: have a look!

Free friday at the beach… part 2!

Still have stories to tell about the beach-friday! In the afternoon, we made another walk, of course! And it is still the month of March, so grandpa and me we can run off the leash! 🙂 This time, no dunes…

Tide was low so I could play and run on the beach. But suddenly there were those big galopping beasts. Yes, yes I know those are horses… My French friend has one and showed it… i only looked from far away, I’m afraid. Sssstt, don’t tell mum, she does not know!
I saw the horses, run to my mum and barked to tell her to be careful! And what did she do? She put me on the leash! I tell you! So I barked again to tell her that I don’t appreciate that! I wanted to go a little nearer, not to near of course, but a little?

Oh no, Kita, you can’t run after them! Stay!

You see, she does not know I’m afraid! She does not know that I would stop in time! But maybe she thinks the horses are afraid of me? Or afraid of the whistle-language my mum uses to call me? She protects the horses. That’s it! That’s kind of her but I do no harm, mum, I’m always very friendly even with very little dogs! Really, mum, you sometimes act a little silly! Anyway, horses were gone and I could run!

Half an hour later we met them again, very nearby… They are big, very big!
But not only the horses, also the dog that wanted to kiss me when a very friendly woman was making a picture of me and my mum. I kept a little distance as a real lady does whith unknown gentlemen… 😉

Free friday?… Beach!!!

Not very ofen, but I agree with my mum in this case… We can be happy that Belgium is a little country and more important: Belgium is near the Northsea! 😉 So where ever you are in Belgium, the beach is never far away! 🙂 And that’s good news! Ike and Sam in Wyoming: you have the very big spaces, we have the sea. When your mum and dad take you on a tour to admire all that big space, well we go on a tour to see the sea! 😉
And for all the friends down under who are near the beach or in big spaces, well we have the Nortsea… 😉

Early spring and a free friday? = We go to the beach!
That’s what we did last friday! We were at the beach! In the morning, it was high tide, and then the beach is not big! So this time I could run from the sea into the dunes… Mum prefers low tide, not me…
Although I was not very sure of all this, mum disappeared a few times and I had to look for her. Really, mum can be so abstracted and then she does not know where to go, and which is the right direction. I really have to keep an eye on her or she gets lost! 😉 – That’s why my name is Kita = Japanese for North. I’m the one who always knows where is the North! That’s what mum’s human pup says! 🙂 🙂

By the way, I was in the mood for a fototoot so enjoy the pics and dunes-film (after the pics)!! No music in the film, so everybody can see it… you dream some music, I say! 😉

Great fun and… a spectacular good girl.

I told mum to put as title: Great aire-lady surprises mum and dad! So, she didn’t… but I am going to tell it anyway!

Yesterday, mum and dad were both away at the same time! In the middle of the day!  That nearly never happens, one of them is there, most of the time… Gone they were! For a very long time!  For more than five hours! This Kita thinks that’s very long! When I was still a baby, I went to holidaymum! That’s great. Now that I’m an adult, mum was thinking that Grandpa and me could stay home and do the guarding!!

Grandpa stays in the livingroom, and me? In the kitchen! I shall tell you this: I did no countersurfing although there were bananas (little bit hidden…) and oranges for fruit juice. I did not chew on the blanket in my bed. I did not destroy one of my safe toys. What do you think about that?
I chewed on my very big buffalo-bone and I did sleep a lot. Mum and dad said I was a very good girl! Dad took us to the dogpark when he arrived.

There’s one disadvantage at being in the kitchen: there is no tv-typing-machine to tell you about this big ball I found in the dogpark! Me and mum were playing with it a few mornings ago! First I was playing alone and that is kept in the blinking thing. The big fun though was when mum and I were playing real football, as on the tv! It was a very big pity, mum could not play and film at the same time! And there was no one else!!! 😦 😦

Anyway, enjoy the pics – Film follows tomorrow!! Just click on them to see how big the ball was! And how I tried to peel it… did not eat it though!!! 😉 I love the pics, but mum said the light was not good… Really, there’s always something if you believe her! 😉

Midget… medium lady… giant!

Last wednesday I had a very busy afternoon! My dogness, yes!

Me and my mum, we went to the dogpark. We stayed there for almost 2 hours: weather was very nice and mum said we should enjoy spring! She learned her lesson, since I told her! 😉

First there was Kiyo. I know this midget who thinks he is a giant since long. We played quit some time! Then I inspected my tree. Mum sat on it, on the lower part of course, she does not want to climb! Then I did some cutting on a fallen branch. And then…

New dog in town and in our district!!! I had never seen a ‘cane corso’ in my whole live… But now I met one: Cayto. This sir is a giant, but he really acts like a midget… He plays, he wants to be cuddled all the time… Grandpa came to the park too and said Cayto thinks he is a lap-dog, which is so crazy with his size. But he agreed that he is a very nice new friend. Grandpa did approve him being in the dogpark and got the usual respect he gets from every dog. How he does that, I don’t know… must be because grandpa is old and grey!!!
Cayto has a grandma Stafford-sister too, but I don’t know her name. She’s friendly but does not play!

So, you see, my wednesday was busy! 😉 Love those wednesdays!

Airedale lady… rescues mum… ;-)

Still a few stories to tell from ages ago: carnival at the sea…

One day we came home and I told my grandpa Lennox I am a rescue-dog, just like him. He always tells he is a rescue-dog! He laughed, and laughed and laughed harder and harder and more… I thought he would get that kidney-thing again or something at his heart if he would not stop laughing at me! At the end he finally stopped! Thank dogness!

So I had to explain him why I was thinking I was a rescue-dog! Well, I rescued my mum! We were at the beach and there are little rivers and little ponds on the beach, made by the sea. When tide is coming up, well, that makes sometimes that there are beach islands. Mum and me were very busy: I was playing with a black labrador and doing funny things and trying to wink and… and mum was fototooting… And then, I saw it… we were on an island! I told mum to be quick and to follow me before we would get drowned… euh, at least before her feet in her boots would be drowning…
I had a difficult job! I hate deep water, but I found where mum could pass the sea-river! So I rescued mum! I am a rescue-dog!

Grandpa still did laugh a bit but at least he understood that I rescued mum, which he appreciated. 😉 She gives us dinner, he says… 😉 But he still says I’m not a rescue-dog: I am with mum and dad since I was seven weeks old. He first lived elsewhere for three years and was adopted by mum and dad, that makes him the rescue-dog of the family, he says, not this aire-lady…

Anyway, all was in the blinking thing!!!! With the wind and the noise of the sea included! 🙂

Life on the wild side… Yihaaa!!!

Told you yesterday that I found lots of things on my mum’s tv-typing-machine! To be honest: she is the one showing me… 😉

Anyway, in these carnival-holidays (remember that? – seems long ago…) we were at the beach. And at some moments, my grandpa lennox forgets he is a grandpa now and that he should act as a grandpa… just as I act as a lady (when I feel like it…). So sometimes my grandpa does not feel like acting as a grandpa…
Mum is not prepared at that, nor is the blinking thing… but she captured some of his silly non-grandpa-actions… 😉 As well as my non-lady-actions… in deep water!!!

Result: a little movie with bizar movements of grandpa but also of the blinking thing, hahahaha! Hope you don’t get dizzy while looking… 😉 because pics and film are mixed… 😉

Grandpa and this aire-lady in… a car fototoot!

Remember that my mum had this carnival holiday some time ago? We went to the seaside and I found a lot of interesting pics on mum’s tv-typing-machine! Today is the car-fototoot! Tomorrow something else!

Hate to admit it, but the big fototoot star of today is not me but my grandpa Lennox!  But you will also see he is still a bit of a macho, grandpa or not! When we are in the car, he takes all the place and I can’t do anything about that! It has been since the beginning like that. But now I’m a fullgrown lady and I want more place…
No way! He gets angry if I take too much of the couch in the car. And mum and dad??? They don’t say anything! 😦  They say we should negotiate ourselves and be good dogs. “Point final!”

Well, see for yourself! Surely the last pic!!! 🙂
