Fashion-days for… this lady

Mum, a package!!! Yes, for me!!!

Who does it come from? Waaaauw, you really mean that? From Chef Mauricce and Dusty and Poppy popstar and little Larry?!!! Waaauw! What’s in it? Oooooh, look, mum, new bandanas!! Coming all the way from Australia! My dogness, what a great present! ❤

Mum, come on, take the red thing! Fototoot!! FOTOTOOT of my fashionshow. yes, I look that way! Black one is really funny, isn’t it? 🙂
Now the red one, put it a bit to the right, then you can see it better! That goes very well with my harness! I’ll look to the ceiling, can you fototoot it all right? 😉
Now the blue one! Maybe that’s my favorite… I have nothing blue untill now. Can I keep it on for the rest of the day, it is sunday, you know! Can I? Yes!!!!!! I can!

Mum, I’m a real city-lady now, am I not? 😉 🙂

Thank you so very, very much Maurice, Dusty, Poppy and Larry!!!! xxx ❤

Hey little larry… just be less naughty than this lady! ;-)

Dear Larry

So you are the cute little brother of my big love Chef Mauricee! You are one of a lucky guy! Having a real Chef as a brother! And as I can see: a very kind brother! He lets you play with his toys! 😉

I just write you this letter to give you an advice! I got the same toy of my mum as you did! 😉 Yes, she is nice, I know! But I was less nice… I think. I had fun though… for a moment… not anymore… I explain it to you! 🙂

In the “bone-toy” is a squeek! Well you better let it in it! Just don’t do as this lady did… I tried to get the squeek out. Result? Mum took the toy and made it disappear… So, what is my advice to you, little one? Do NOT chew on the toy! Do NOT destroy it, then you can keep it! And you can play with it. 🙂

Oh, by the way, the pictures your big brother was sending to me are so cute, really! Thanks!

Big hugs and kisses, for Chef Mauricee too, of course! 😉

Not new but again in town!… The bye bye-business!

In Dutch there is a saying: “Mooie liedjes duren niet lang”… Beautiful songs don’t last long enough… Grandpa told me so, and he explained it too: things that are nice don’t last for ever… Well he was right! Holidays don’t last for ever! 😉

Holidays are over. Mum went back to her library for a full and long day. So I got my old business out of the cupboard: the bye bye-business! Whenever mum goes out, I go to the window to say goodbye to her! And then mum looks up and waves with her hand! And sometimes she makes a picture, when she has the red thing ready. 🙂

That’s what you see on all the pics… me at the window! There also pics and video of the other side!!! 😉 And I can tell you: the bye bye-business is a good one but a little bit sad one too! 😦 Best thing is the hello again-business. When window is open and mum arrives, she does: ppsssssttt, ppsssstttt… I hear that and go to the window. No, silly, not to say bye bye, then we say: hello! 🙂 ❤

Spectacle?… Not with this lady! ;-)

One of these mornings, after our walk, mum said we were going to have a spectacle. That means she is going to wash grandpa Lennox, who was not very happy with being bathed… Mum, do you say you will go all the way to the Bridge to bath grandpa? No, but we will have the spectacle anyway? 😉

Oh, I see! It’s me who will get washed! No, mum, no spectacle at all! I like it! I like the lukewarm water all over my body! Even on my head! Then I close my eyes! Oh yes, I like it! So very little shampoo, mum, why? Not good for the skin and the fur of this lady?
So no show at all! Mum even had time to fototoot! 🙂 I wished she did this more often, my mum, the lukewarm water bath. What? Not good for my skin and my curls? My dogness, this lady’s skin and fur are fragile, I think. Okay, I’ll enjoy it anyway! And I’ll practice some more water-business later! 😉

And then, I have to dry! Off I go, in my little house with… yes, a very big treat, being such a lady without water-horror-show! You see that, grandpa Lennox? I get a dried pig-ear, one of your many favorites! 😉

Yes… in the ice-business!

This is the first time I was allowed to assist at mum’s ice business! ohoh! It was fun! What is mum’s ice business? Well, in the kitchen there is that very big icebox-cupboard where mum keeps all the frozen food. But sometimes, it has to be cleaned! Then we go in the ice business!

As always I inspected everything… need to, first time, remember? 😉 And I could, at least in the beginning! 😉 In the end, when everything was clean, mum said: Fiche le camp! That means: go elsewhere!

But I got two pieces of ice! Yummie! 😉 ❤ See pics and video!

Busy days… fototoot competition…

We are fototooting a lot these days… and sometimes mum prefers to have me not in the picture! Can you imagine that? 😉 In the end I am in all pictures anyway… 😉 How on earth could she not make pictures of this airelady?

First we went to the huge dogpark to see my bunny friends… Mum says summer is almost over… Oak trees have their fruits, although there was one very funny one! Hahahaha!

Afterwards we started the fototoot with the new shoes for the kitchenchairs and the fish and the owl… Quite a job, mum was sighing all the time and complaining about “light”. Mum, really, you can’t say these fish are heavy? 😉 Oooh, you mean the light coming from outside? Okay, I see! Ssssttt, to be honest, I don’t see what she means: it’s day all right! 🙂

Seaside… the nice life!

We went to the seaside again! Three mornings we got up at 7 o’clock and we walked straight to the beach! Well, sometimes my mum has splendid ideas. Mind the word: “sometimes” though!
So early at the beach is great! We have the beach, and I mean all the beach, all for ourselves! I can run and play. Business days, guys, business days!!! Running business, water business and even fishing business!  ❤

I smelled the fish and was searching for it quite a time… and I found it! But mum did put me on the leash when I found it… I could not run away with it. Would not have done that: it was not fresh enough! So I peed on it. To make sure every doggie knows it is not fresh enough. Got off the leash again! 🙂

Found mussels too! Mum forbid me to eat of them. She was right: too hard!

At 8.30 we went back home: too many people come on the beach! Even 4 or 5! So, on the leash… it still is high season… 😦 Anyway: we have had our fun! 😉

In the afternoon, we do other walks. Dad came too and we went for a cup of very good coffee! Mum said I was an example-doggie. She means I was a very good girl, a real lady. Lots of people looked at me… That’s life… Can’t go out incognito anymore… I’m recognised everywhere as a beautifull airedale-lady! 🙂

PS Even a fish at home!!!! See pics!

Silly? Who?… No, not me! ;-)

Mum likes this silly game she calls fetching. When there are no other doggies in the little dogpark, I want to play with her. Keeping me busy because I am a busy lady: that’s in my genes and my nature! 😉

Mum has in her bag this toy (see pics). I think she needs her arm to be trained and she is throwing the thing. But if she has to train her arm, she has to throw several times… The toy has to be fetched… Mum does not like the fetching… There’s where I come in the picture… I have to fetch the thing and bring it to her, so that she can go on exercising… and throwing… 🙂
And there we go again. She does not like the fetching, neither do I! 😦 But because I am a lady, I help her out a few times, but only a few times…

Mum says I’m a silly girl! Why? Half of the time I’m too much in a hurry to get the thing and to get it all done with, that I don’t concentrate where she throws the stupid thing. Then I can’t find it… and she has to fetch it herself! She says I do it on purpose! 😉

Anyway, we always have fun… hahahaha! This morning, mum brought the red thing. Result? A rollercoaster-movie… hahahaha… Of course: throwing and filming and getting the thing and giving treats and filming at the same time… hahahaha… That’s not a brilliant idea…. hahahaha. 😉

Sad day… today… very sad day… :-(

One day life is nice, as I said yesterday… Another day life is sad, that’s what I say today.
How does that come?

As you know my mum is a librarymum in a very big school. She has a lot of colleagues. Four years ago she had to learn how to make a storypage like mine for the library. But learning means exercising… hahaha… And I had to help her of course. I was the one telling the stories, she learned how to make them ready so friends could read them.
Well, one of mum’s colleagues thought my stories were so nice, she always wanted another story, and again, and again… she asked for them… She was one of my first and biggest fans ever! Really!!! She read all the stories! 🙂 ❤

But then this nice lady got very ill: cancer of the lungs. 😦 Ill or not, very ill or not: she read the stories whenever she was able to do so. Last wednesday mum went to see her. I got a big hug when mum came home. ❤ The very nice lady said I should go on telling my stories because I make people smile in all circomstances, a smile that lightens a day.  Even much more than this lady could ever think of!
She even asked about my new collars and all my businesses of the last weeks… 🙂 She said she would go to “my” Blue Bridge as she preferred to call the Rainbow Bridge…

This morning the nice lady passed away… she went to “Kita’s blue bridge” as she announced… Much sooner then expected!
So today is a very sad day! I’ll miss my fan very much, mum and the colleagues will miss the nice lady… so will her family, even more… But we all have these wonderfull memories to cherish… ❤

Travel safe… Rest in peace, dear fan-lady! ❤
