Mum?… Library mum?… I need advice!

What does she ask? I did not listen too carefully, I’m busy! What I’m doing? Sunbathing? No, mum, that’s a coincidence. I’m trying to choose a good book! 🙂

You remember, mum, when I was a teenager, that you learned me to read? All the pictures we were looking at in the books of your library! The very first one? The one with the farm of my friend Mano? Oh yes, you kept me busy all right! 😉 And in the meantime I was not chewing up other things, hahahaha! 😉

Oh, my dear, I remember!

Oh, my mum calls me “my dear”, than she is very pleased with me. ❤
Anyway, mum, could you please help me to choose a book? Her are lots of them near my box with toys and crate.
I know I come first, but after all, you are a library mum too, aren’t you? 😉

PS Pics of today and pics of the old days…

Het is zo ver! … Ik leer lezen!

What an adventure!… My dogness!

This morning, our wal to the huge dogpark was one big adventure. Yes, yes, not a small one: a big one. an adventure in two parts! 😉

First of all I had this playdate with Bacon. You know him! The guy with the ball! Today we had a lot of fun with the ball… 🙂 We were running and playing, but then… horror! The ball was in the water. The ball was far away in the water! Very, very far away in the water… 😦 Bacon’s legs are too short!!! He can not reach the ball anymore!
I tried to be a very brave lady and I went in the water, very far in the water! Mum, Look at me, I’m all wet and I’m far in the water! More horror! I can’t take the ball, it goes away when I try to touch it! 😦
In the end I go out of the very cold water… No way, I go in again! 😦

Did we get the ball back? Yes! Bacon’s mum is very brave, she got out off her shoes and socks and she went in the water. Trousers all wet… but she got the ball! 🙂
What an adventure! ❤

So, we had to run to keep warm… And running, I was! Believe me! There was a gentleman called Izzy. He got a crush on me… Well that was a big crush! 😉 He followed me everywhere, touching me all the time! His mum said I should growl and bite, then he would stop! My dogness, a lady does not growl, and a lady does not bite… a lady runs away! But this lady was running quite a bit!

Mum almost had to carry me home, which she never wants, as you know! Anyway I slept the rest of the day… 😉 Lucky me: today is friday. I have the whole weekend to rest! 😉

PS Lots of pictures and video available!

Look at this!… Thanks, human pup!

Few days ago, at noon, the human pup appeared with a big parcel. Is this for me? No and yes? What will it be, no or yes? You confuse this lady. Don’t they teach petshop-human-pups that doggies need clear language? 😉

What does she say? It is for all of us? Oh, now I understand… 🙂

Mum is the one who is opening the parcel! Wow!!!!! Mum, look! But that is my tree! And I am in it! Wow!!! Look, mum, this is very good: that’s the moment I was grinning and laughing at you because you were afraid! hahahaha! 😉

My hero-dad lifted me up to do some inspection from nearby of course!!

Thank you very much, human pup! Now I am always grinning at every one entering the house! Yes!!! ❤

I go shopping… for a friend!

Okay, dad and mum, let’s go! Let’s go shopping! Where? At the human pup’s petshop, of course! What silly questions these humans always have! 😉

Off we go, we go there with the car, of course, it is 30 kms! Hello, here I am! I want to buy a harness! What? Yes, I know, I’m already wearing one! Yes, I need another one, even in another size! You have a bigger size, please? But exactly the same as mine!

What colour? Red of course! My friend Duke wants a harness like mine. What do you say? Maybe he could come himself to try it on? hahahahahahahaha! hahahahahaha!
Mum, please, would you please explain to your human pup that my friend lives at the other side of the very big water? 😉

The ocean, Kita, the ocean!

The human pup explains to mum that this harness-brand is European and they do not export to the other side of the ocean! And she shows where the harnesses are.
Okay, now we are getting some where. ❤
Yes, that’s what I want. And yes, I come to pay! 🙂

By the way, mum, you won’t forget to buy my dinners, will you? 🙂

PS Me and mum even made a little demo-video! 😉 🙂

My very, very, very biggest hero???… My dad!

Who plays football with me on the beach? My dad! 🙂
Who takes me for walks when mum is at her library and also  late at night? That’s not mum, of course! Or she is working or she is already asleep, hahaha! 😉 It’s dad! 🙂
Who gives me dinner very often? Dad! 🙂

You see, we spend a lot of time together, me and my dad! 🙂

And then… there was my birthday! I really was very surprised when dad was watching television… In the seat next to him, there is still place… Mum does not sit in that brown seat because it makes her back hurt… So, in the brown seat there is a small place next to dad. Maybe I could try to get on his lap, as I do with mum in the back seat of the car…???…
Yes, I can! Look at me… In the brown seat, next to dad!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Did mum see this???

Day after, I tried it again… of course when mum did not see it. Dad, he said it was okay as long as I only get in the brown seat! That’s our seat, he says! And when he comes, I take a small place or I go in my bed! Oh yes, I do!!! But, friends all over the world: I conquered a new seat! And I really don’t have to thank mum for it: she normally forbids it!

So, tell me: who is my very, very biggest hero? My dad! 😉 ❤

PS Grandpa Lennox got in seats too when he was younger! He told me so! ssssttttttttt!

I’m in the guiding-business… for a blind friend!

This morning me and mum went to the huge dogpark. Nice morning. No sun, talking grass, glass-water! Yep, happy lady! 🙂

In the huge dogpark we met Vic! Vic is such a handsome guy! ❤ There is only a small problem: Vic is not too sure about everything. 😦 How come? Vic is a blind guy! 😦

So, he was turning his head around and his beautiful tail was down with all those busy dogs around him. Then he was walking away of all this fuss. His mum was calling him, but he went on.
So this lady went after him to keep an extra eye open and to comfort and guide him a bit. 😉 That’s what ladies do, you know! 😉

That’s what I did all morning: taking Vic everywhere: also to the busy treat-party and then away again, and I learned him a bit how to play… 😉
He has a very nice mum too! I even was not angry because she did not know I’m an airedale! 😉

In the end he wanted to go home with me, but I brought him back to his mum and explained his mum would be very sad! He went with her, tail-wagging! 🙂

What do you say, mum? Am I a good girl? Why? I’m just me, you know… 🙂

Inspecting my… big waterbusiness!

Yesterday afternoon the weather was still very, very stormy! What a wind, my dogness! Me and mum do not care about wind so we went to the huge dogpark!

Today I was not exercising for the Olympics: there was no one there to exercise with… 😦

So, we decided to go to the wettest part of the dogpark so that I could do some water-inspection! Water is fresh, rained a lot lately and business is okay! 🙂 You can see I did a very, very thorough inspection! 🙂

Had to dry when we came home, hahahahahaha. And paw plunger-business too! 😉

I won, mum!… I won, I won!!!

Mum has some holidays. They calll them spring-holidays! And there is a beast called carnival too… Did not meet it yet! 😉

Anyhow: we have spring-flowers and spring-wind. Wind? No, storm! But, weather or no weather, as we say in Dutch: me and mum we go to the huge dogpark. 🙂

Yesterday I was in the running business! Oh, yes, I was! As you know, i can run fast, but not that fast, I must admit! But yesterday, I had good legs (I learned that from television, cyclists say so too!). So, I had very good legs and I did some competition runs with 2 black dogs. 🙂

First of all, I had a good start! And I gave everything, I really did! And: I WON!
Mum, did you see it, I won!!! ❤
What? A fotofinish? No, I won with more than a lenght, mum! Oh, you mean you have a fototoot untill the finish?!!! Show it to all my friends! 😉

When are these Olympics? 😉

Surprise… surprise… surprise!!!

Mum’s black thing was making that music… most of the time she starts talking then. She said: “good idea! See you!”

One hour later I had to bark: doorbell was ringing! And who came in? The human pup. That happens more! 🙂
But what not always happens is the following… 😉

Human pup was talking to me! About my birthday! Ans she had a plastic bag! Oh, my dogness! What’s in it? My birthday present? Yeeeey!!!! ❤ I love the human pup!

What does she say, the human pup? How many minutes will it last? I let my new duck-chicken where it was when something else came out of the bag: treats! Yeeeey! ❤

I first finish the treat and play later with the toy! Almost a quarter of an hour, then mum took the toy away… Why??? 😦

Even more… family-business!!!

Last sunday, on the beach, I met my niece/aunt Jara. She’s a daughter of my grandpa Desmond. i suppose that makes her my doggie-aunt, no? 😉

She is a very kind and lovely lady! One problem: she prefers running after her ball in stead of playing and romping around. I do not like that silly game when mums and dads exercise their ball-throwing skills and we have to get the balls back… 😦

But you can see in the many pictures I really tried to be friendly and I run a bit with her, just to do her a favour! 🙂
