Breaking news: … special trip to town!

Mum often goes into town, i do not always accompany her. Why not? Sometimes she goes in places where I am not allowed! 😦

Today though I could come. We went to this golden house. See in the pics. Two really nice girls made them. Mum says we show the bloopers too! There were bloopers, yes… You can not be perfect all the time, can you? 😉

In this golden house, which mum calls a shopping center and which is VERY famous, there is this MIS-shop!

IMS, Kita, International Press Shop!

So, off we went to the MIS-shop. Mum buys there English and French crochet magazines. And the lady there? She is so friendly! But she was not there, so after some time, I barked. The girl at the counter was surprised but… the real nice lady came out of the back and gave me my treat! ❤ There is a guy too, some times, he gives treats too, you know! 😉

Afterwards, we were eating an ice cream on the Meir. That means, mum eats most of it and I get the last part! 😉 ❤

PS The golden house is called: Stadsfeestzaal. You can see pics and see the long history here: Stadsfeestzaal

New business… art-business!

Yes, yes… I am in a new business… in the art-business!

I explain: me and mum we make a lot of walks, at least 3 times a day! Then we see a lot of art! I always show my mum where to look! And then I got this fabulous idea! ❤

Listen, mum, can we show the art in our street to all my friends? Will you please take the red blinking thing with you!
You will not believe this: mum agreed from the first time! ❤ Yes, you read it good: from the first time! Grandpa Lennox would be very astonished! And I have to say: I was surprised too! 😉

Off we went! We show you nature’s art! On this beautiful sunday! Enjoy! 🙂

Gotcha-day… useful present!

More than a week ago, it was my Gotcha-day: first day of spring, 21 march! We were too busy to tell about it…

So, I will tell you about it now. This time no extra treats, but a real present! Who should I thank for this time? The française! No, no, she did not buy or give me the present, not at all! Mum did! ❤

I got a new collar! Yes, I have enough collars, coming from Australia, but… when we play biteyface, me and the française, she also thinks she has to play biteycollar! The result is in the pics! 😦

So, we keep the not destroyed Australia-collars to go out in town and I got a very nice every-day-collar that sissie Lizzie can not distroy and we can still play! 🙂 ❤
I even could go with mum to the shop to try it on. Lovely lady gave me treats…
After all, I got extra treats for Gotcha-day, now that you mention it! 😉

We are ready… for spring and summer!

When children start to call me a lion or a sheep, I know it is time to have a serious chat with my mum… I already told you before! This time, it was even worse! 😦

A nice adult human we met during a walk, he said I was a very beautiful bobtail. Bobtails are nice dogs, that is not the problem, but I am the queen, not a bobtail! The queen of terriers. Basta.

Even the française who worries about nothing, was a bit indignant when I told her.
She even mentioned my famous mum-chat. So I had a very serious chat with mum! 😉

Result? We are ready for spring and summer! “Des mains d’or” were getting us ready! Have a look at the pics! Don’t we look georgeous? ❤ 😉

Yep!… Another one!

Mum says this will get you very bored because it repeats itself endlessly… Well, that is her opinion.

What this is about? I have another new friend! Yes, again! I like to make new friends!! ❤

This one is a bit special! – They all are – He is a terrier as I am. A Lakeland terrier. He is a mister and is called Boot. Boot is as old as I am, that’s to say: he is a few months older. He will be 9 in a few months and I am just 8.

Luckily mum had her black speaking box with her that time. The speaking thing makes pics too! That’s nice! But unlike me, Mister Boot does not like playing… 😦

So, here come the pics of lady Kita and mister Boot.

Bloop, blooper… bloopest!

We had some very nice days, in the middle of winter, it felt like spring, even summer… me and mum made nice walks, ohh yes… and we had a lot of fun too! We laughed and laughed… ❤

And now you want to know why, don’t you! Well, we tried to make some selfies. Mum is not that clever with the black box that speaks too as she is with her crochet-stick! I can assure you! 😉 🙂 Hahaha…

We tried our very best but… The result: a lot of bloopers! We post them anyway, don’t we, mum? So everybody can have a good laugh this sunday! yes!!! ❤

New business… entertainment-business!

It does not happen easily, but a few days ago, me and mum went to the small dogpark. The reason? Two puppies!
Puppies have to be socilad, mum says! 🙂

Socialised, Kita, socialised!!!

Okay, for the socilading of these two…

Socialising, Kita, socialising!

Okay, mum, I get it! For the socilading of these two, we went to the little dogpark. Well, if the française has Duracell-batteries, these two have Double Duracell! Ella, the black/brown one is 6 months old, if I remember well. The name of the other one, we forgot. That one  is even much younger than Ella. That we remember very well!

So, I was entertaining the little ones to socilad them. Although I say it myself, I did a great job! There are pics and video to proof it!

This socilad-lady did quite a good job! 🙂 Proof????? Got treats afterwards. Next day we went back without the red blinking thing though! 😦 But I got treats again!

PS Enjoy the pics and video! ❤

Lizzie, Lizzie! Look, this is… Lizzie!

When we came home from the huge dogpark, I called the française immediatly! Mum, where is she? Sleeping, you think? Lizzie, Lizzie!!!!!!!

Lizzie, Lizzie! I met Lizzie, 9 months old Lizzie! And she has Duracell-batteries as you have! My dogness, she can run! 🙂
Yes, we played a bit! Are you jealous now? I’ll show you the pics and the movie when mum puts it on the tv-typing-machine.
No, she is not an airedale, she is a poodle. Should ask mum though… 😉

Mum, every dog with the name Lizzie, do they all have of those batteries? 🙂 Why do you burst into laughter? 😉

PS After the playing, we did a little toot too. ❤ Movie is at the end! 😉

Lizzie and the Philosopher (Part 2): dumped on the waterfront

“You don’t understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am. Let’s face it.”

This unrivalled scene stems from the early fifties movie On the waterfront – a picture that I recommend wholeheartedly. Why do I quote the incomparable Marlon Brando here? What’s the point? Well, it’s all about that feeling! What it is like to be a failure, a weakling, a loser. Nobody conveys it better than he does, so strikingly, in these few sentences. Does that intense depressing sentiment surprise you at times as well?

Bent over Lizzie’s droppings is one of those moments in which I ask myself: what the hell am I doing? Lizzie gazes at me blankly, as if she were saying: don’t blame me, I did my thing as expected, and as far as I am concerned we can readily move on – I think I smell something intriguing over there, by the way… I point out to her – because I admit, that is what I do: I talk to her on our walks… – that I have to attend to my civil duties. The next moment I am messing around with my dog’s shit, as if we had committed a crime. The plastic bag –biodegradable, of course, what did you expect! – only gives in after a considerable struggle.

I won’t annoy you with an account of the occasions at which the bag, that we fatally bought too cheap of course, tears up and bursts open, and what this does to your hands, or your coat… Or the times at dusk that I planted the deep profiled sole of my boot in the soft excrements before I spotted them. Very unfortunate, for sure, but that is not what it is about here now. It is that moment, when you stand straight again, and you look around with the poop bag in your hand. You hadn’t noticed before, but… how much dirt is laying around here on the waterfront!

I feel like a loser, as I stand there, stricken, holding on to Lizzie’s poop bag. Conscientiously, I follow Lizzie around to catch her feces, while litter is ubiquitous with a blatant obviousness. Who throws all this rubbish on the ground? Don’t these people worry about our environment? Empty soda plastics, a package of half eaten fries with stew and mayonnaise (could have been curry sausage too, sniffing Lizzie undoubtedly knows it more accurately), a shattered Eristoff bottle (broken glass and dog paws: a no-go combination!)… Oh well, I’ll save you the details.

This is an ordinary weekday, not a Monday morning after a sunny summer weekend with lots of picnicking sunbathers, not The Day After a big event attended by thousands of people. No, an ordinary winter morning. I will not bore you with an apocalyptic description of what this place looks like after the New Year’s Eve frenzy… Suddenly it strikes me: why would I feel like a loser? Do I not consciously deposit the waste that I inevitably generate, in public trash cans? Am I to be considered a whiner then, if I complain about this obnoxious behaviour?

Who is the loser in this story after all? I imagine Marlon Brando saying to those who leave litter behind: “You don’t understand! You coulda had class. You coulda been a contender. You coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what you are. Let’s face it.” (jhv)

Birthday celebration with… a piggiesnoutparty!

Dear grandpa Lennox

Yes, I know, i do not write much. I’m a bit of a lazy Lady, you know. You don’t believe me? Well, it is becoming the truth…

You know, 2 days ago it was my birthday. I am 8 years old now. Mum says you calmed down at that moment. So do I, as long as the Française does not annoy me, of course.
I remember you were often talking about your old bones. Well, I think I start to understand. 😉 We went to see a new green cloth-sir. Grandpa, he is such a sweet guy, you would have loved him. He takes half an hour for you when you go there and you get examined very well but he is not brutal. You even do not feel the needles of the vaccinations. What? You don’t believe it? You should!! 😉

Your old bones? Mine get old too. Get treats as you did, mum calls them pills. Anyhow, they taste good. I like them.

For my birthday, me and the Française had a fototoot, to send to you to show you! Maybe you get a bit jealous… we had a piggiesnoutparty! Mmmmm… jummie! ❤ Do you have them at the Bridge too? 😉
I send you the bloopers of the toot too, so you can have a good laugh with us down here! 😉

Now I need a nap, writing letters is tiring and me and mum had very big walks today!

Have a great time at the Bridge!
Big hugs from the little one ❤ (although I was bigger than you anyway),
