Yes, Yes!!!… Another one!

What does she say? She got me some new pills? What for? I am definitely not ill, mum! Forget it!

What is this all about? What is she saying? Every six months I eat this pill? This is a deworming treat? Not a pill? She is joking, my mum! πŸ™‚ What on earth is ‘deworming’?
She shows me the little box. Hey, mum, did you see it too? That’s especially made for me, these deworming treats? They put an airedale on the box because I have to eat this? Cool! My dogness, that is really cool! ❀ I have to take this and show it to my friends!

No, Kita, you don’t eat the box, you eat a pill!

Come on, give me one of these cool-package-deworming-treats!
And can I get some of your fruit too? πŸ˜‰

Today?… Exciting!

Very exciting day today!

Mum and dad and me (yes, grandpa!!!) went to see the human pup and her husband. He was busy and I had to bark for his attention before we could cuddle! Then we saw mum’s human pup: she was working too. She works in a very exciting place, my dogness! Yes, yes: she works in Β a petshop! And in her shop, pets are allowed! That’s what they are called pet-shops for, she says! πŸ˜‰

We visited and I inspected everything of course! Found something for cousin Islay too. All these good smells! And then, my dogness, I saw myself on a big bag of food! No, it was not me, but on the new bags of food of a certain brand, there now is … an airedale! Imagine that! We will get more famous now over here! Mum yelled a bit: Yihaaaaa! Pup and me were having fun for the fototoot! πŸ˜‰

Then I met a new little friend: a bunny. Sweet thing! I also met two other doggies! Petshop, remember? ❀

The part I did not like too much was the trying of an outfit… In a few weeks I’m going to the hairdresser’s and mum remembered in time that we go to my French friend too! I don’t like to run in the rain, she finally knows, my mum. And only one coat is not enough, there is always one in the washing machine. Mum says I’m a dirty lady when I play… 😦

In the end, I saw the funniest thing ever… but we have no pics… 😦

When we got home, I ate my dinner and took a very long nap! Exciting and tiresome! πŸ˜‰ Got so many pics, I can not choose… maybe I should show them all this time… πŸ˜‰ If mum agrees of course… she might say it is boring… πŸ˜‰

Run free, granduncle Apollo!… Run free!

Dear grand-uncle Apollo

Yes, I know, I should say uncle Pol, that is what the friends and family say… But this is a special occasion, isn’t it?
13 seems not to be your lucky number… I told my friends all about you and your zipper and all the prices you won in september when you got 13 years old. πŸ™‚ They know about you in 102 countries. They all think about you and your journey now!!!

I write you to say goodbye to you. And I have to ask you something too, even two things! First of all: will you please say hello to my grandpa Lennox, there at the Bridge? Think he will like that!

And then: you will watch a bit over your loved ones, will you? Your mum and dad and the rest of your aire-family at ’t Asbroek? Surely the little ones, only a few weeks old? They all must be very sad these days, I know the feeling, you know!

But most of all: grandpa told me that the Bridge is a good place to live for ever, so enjoy it, uncle Pol! Run free!

Big hugs from your little niece Kita

PS Mum sends you the pics of your 13th birthday!

Yes, yes… back to normal, in the end! :-)

This afternoon we went to the huge dogpark! That’s no news, I know! I run a lot, in the rain! No news either!

But then we came home. Mum said I could use a good nap after my running and walking about 4 miles + the playing with the other dogs! Mum, really, I don’t need a nap, I’ll show you! Where is my favourite toy? πŸ˜‰

Kita, stop it! You act like a baby! 😦

Hahaha, me a baby? That was long ago! But, stop? No way, I go on!Β Mum took the blinking thing, so I did go on for a few minutes… Yes, mum, I go back to my normal lady-self! πŸ™‚ You are right again, I need a nap… Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Need a little problem… to try this out!

In the morning, coming from my little dogpark, we sometimes make a big tour to go home. Then we pass by this special building. No, not the building is special, but the windows are.

At first, mum did not notice. That happens. But this lady does! When we pass, there always is this other airelady. She is very friendly, although I barked at her the first time. Now, I know her, we say hello! πŸ™‚ I do not bark anymore. Grandpa always said that barking is ‘not done’ by ladies!

On the window are white little drawings. They look like the black and very little drawings on the tv-typing-machine. Mum explained that these drawings tell things. She says the windows promise things… Solutions and health. Don’t understand these words… And I think mum does not really believe these windows. But I also think the windows are nice: there always is an airelady when I pass! That’s great, don’t you think so?

Crisis in the woodbusiness?… Not here…

Dear Islay-cousin

Read it last night in the modern newspaper on the tv-typing-machine… about the failure in your wood-business. I understand you were not available for comments. I wouldn’t be either!

Here the wood-business is fine. This morning near the little dogpark, I have filled my stock with new wood… Can I help you out, my dear? I made you some pictures to choose some of it!

Don’t be too sad about all this, I know you are creative enough to start a new business or even two or three with lots of success! I keep my paws crossed. Update me in time, will you?

Big hugs

Kita

Sunny saturday… play-day!

Today was a very sunny day! No, it was not sunday yet, it was saturday! Me and mum (sorry, grandpa!), euh, mum and me, we went to the huge dogpark! We met a lot of doggies and mums and dads. We forgot about the time, we were on huge-park-trip for almost 2 hours! πŸ˜‰

I did play a lot, a bit with Katie, a very nice white shepherd-dog but she does not hear anything: she is deaf. But she sees for two an does agility! And then I played a lot with Bo, the cute retriever! I like him! ❀

And at one moment I made all mums and dads laugh, but mum has no pics! 😦 How that came? Well, I got the ball of another dog, of a German shepherd. As you know I hate the fetch and bring-game. What I get, is mine, I do not want to give it to mum if I can play with it with the other doggies… But mum wanted the ball! We all wanted the ball. Bo’ s dad had a treat. We were all sitting to get the treat and yes, it was me who was going to get the treat! Difficult situation! Had to think a bit. I had to drop the ball to take the treat. Should I? Yes, of course. I dropped the ball, put my paw on it and took the treat. Everybody was laughing! They were laughing with me, putting my paw on my ball! That’s what my mum does too, when she wants to keep the ball! I do not laugh then! 😦

Incredible … but true!

I was in my bed! Having a big nap because today is free friday and we went to the huge dogpark. I had a very busy morning in all my businesses! πŸ˜‰

So, I was napping! Mum sits quietly at the tv-typing-machine when she starts yelling: Kita, look at this! More then 100 countries! I open one eye to make clear I want to nap! She is excited though! My story-telling-page on the tv-typing-machine is sending a message! Something about countries! Are that doggies mum? More then 100 doggies see my stories?

Why does she laugh, my mum?

Ohoh, now she says the D*-word! What did happen? Message is gone and not saved? Ohlala, mum is not pleased with the tv-typing-machine… But my mum has an idea, that’s why she is my mum: she has ideas and not only about her library, also about the tv-typing-machine. She says she is smarter than the machine. But not smarter than me, he, mum???
She’ll make a tv-pic she says, to show this unbelievable thing!

Friends in more than 100 countries – still don’t get it, me, although I’m smart! – came to look to me?!!! Mum counted on the pics: 102! Is your country on the list? Have a look!!!

Cooking with Kita… part 8.

Mum, listen, Β more than a year passed since we did some ‘cooking with Kita’. I think my sister FΓ©line needs a new recepy! I know you do not like cooking at all, but we can prepare something “quick” and delicious, can’t we? Please, mum? Mum, and maybe, Duke’s mum will try this too, in Canada? Like the other thing we made? (https://everydayanairedale.com/2013/08/27/flemish-cooking-with-kita-part-7/) Oh, mum, and we can secretely (ssstttt) pass the recepy to Chef Mauricee in Australia too, for his cooking show, can’t we? But we won’t tell anyone, will we? πŸ™‚

Okay, okay… you win, Kita!

As always, grandpa would say! πŸ˜‰ What is she going to make? Oh, she takes something out of the very, very cold cupboard! Fish! mmmm… With princess beans! I’m in, mum, I’m in!! Oh, the very easy, yummy recepy! πŸ˜‰

There is that big blinking bag, we put the beans in. Not all! Some go in my snout and stomach! ❀ At least one pic to laugh with, mum says! Than the fish, with the cream and spices. Of it goes in the oven! Mum peels the potatoes to cook them! Again, not all! I get some raw potato too! Yummy, but I only get a little part… 😦

Half an hour later, I keep an eye on that!, everything is ready! Oh me, this time I can not taste anymore, mum says! Too hot for aire-ladies. I have a good sniff and I go back to my bed… if I can’t have some, I disappear! What do they think? I’m not the begging lady of the house! πŸ˜‰

More ‘remembering’?… Okay, more remembering to do!

Mum says it’s november. Yes mum, you already explained that, I’m not as silly as grandpa used to think! πŸ˜‰

What’s new about november that I don’t know yet? Remembering to do? Again? I already did… it will get boring, you know! What does she say? Other kind of remembering? Honouring the dead? Normally on the first of november? To busy, we prefer quiet days?
Mum, this goes too fast for me! Just tell me: what’s on the program?

Okay, we go out, in the car! Like that! If grandpa is not in the car – so from now on: always – mum sits next to me to be sure I don’t get ill! We like that cuddling part of going somewhere. Mum tried – with the accent on tried! – Β to make some sies!

Selfies, Kita, selfies!!!

I like making sies, it’s fun! Anyway, we get out in several places and go to places with lots of flowers. We visited mum’s human parents again! I already know them! We take little flowers to them, they like that! Mum’s human mum was great with flowers and plants! That’s how my mum learned it and mum’s human pup learns it from my mum… Β And the books, mum? Was your human mum also a library-mum? Oh, she was not? But she loved reading and she loved books? I see! πŸ˜‰ And of course she was a dog-mum, wasn’t she? πŸ™‚

Yes, Kita, she was!

We also go and see other people… Nice day, after all, think I kind of like all this remembering-stuff! ❀
