Impressions of … sun-sundays!

Some sundays deserve their name, others don’t. Last weeks sundays do their very best to be sun-days! Two weeks ago, on a sunny sunday, me and mum wet to the huge dogpark. What happenend? We accidently met my oldest friend: Gitte! I met her for the first time when I was 7 weeks old and she was 13 weeks old! She is a Hovawart and she likes judo, and surely ippons! I’m used to it by now: I’m the one losing every time. 😦 We were walking a bit when we met this little fellow whom I made partner in my digging-business! 😉 See pics!

Last sunday we were at the seaside, I already showed you the sunny pics! 😉
And today, well we went to the huge dogpark, me and grandpa. My grandpa is in good days lately! He walks and walks and walks! He even explores the bushes and did not want to come immediately when we were going home! See video!
We met a mum who had a grandpa like mine, of 19 years old, when he went to the bridge. Now she has a young grandpa! 🙂 We were playing!

At noon, we went to the restaurant. Grandpa stayed home after all his exploring-business. After the meal we made another walk and mum and dad were having an icecream! I had to wait sooooooo long for that very last little part I always get. But I was a good lady! 😉

And now I need more than one nap! 🙂

Believe me… another business started!

Since mum told me my water-business will be set “on hold” during the winter, I had some thinking to do! Every business-lady understands that!

One morning we arrived at the little dogpark and I found a big ball! Few mornings later again! So I started my ball-business! Goes very good and it is very amusing! When mum wants to play too and I bring the big ball to her, so we can play football, I earn a treat! I’m in the duck-treats-earning-time now! Thanks to mum’s human pup and her pet-shop! 😉
Football-game-business is a good earning! 😉 It can replace the water-business in winter!

I showed also to my grandpa who came with us one evening! He was not too impressed! Said he did better in his younger days… Well, I would have liked to see him in his younger days… believe me! Think he is bluffing very often…. Althougd mum always says he was quite a macho-type… Never mind, I like my ball-business!

Of course I asked mum to make a publi-fototoot! 😉 But early in the morning and rather late in the evening, light is not good for fototooting… Never mind… I show them: it’s about my business, you should see it!

Oh yes, … I like the free fridays!

I heard it well: she said: today it is friday. That is what she said, my mum! Grandpa, did you hear it too? It’s friday!

Little one, I don’t mind! Remember we went to your huge dogpark again last night and I had a nice little run? So, I need some rest today! Keep yourself busy!

Okay! Mum, what’s on the program for today? What? We go for a swim? NO way! I want to run, yes, but no swimming! My paws can swim, yes, but not the rest! 😉 I did the running and I wet my paws: that was it for the swimming-party! 🙂

And this afternoon? Well, we went to the little dogpark, in the middle of the afternoon! 🙂 There was a little gentleman: Renco. His mum said he’s afraid of every dog, big or small, and so he growls and barks at every dog! Mum asked if we could come in the dogpark. His mum said that we could try.

So this lady did the trick. I was very gentle and I pretended I was afraid of him and that I was shy… 😉 So little Renco felt better and he came nearer! He did not growl, he did not bark, oh no… he wanted to play! His mum was in a little positive shock! She had never seen that before! We played with the ball, I even got the ball! And my mum? She was pleased and proud! I’m her aire-lady, you know!

And now? I’m tired! Really! Need a big nap! I’m going to rest in my crate, no grandpa disturbs me there, although door is always open! 😉

More advice for city-aire-girl Islay

Dear Isla

How do you get along with the wood-art? Any results to show?

I’m still in the wood-business, me, but I do it in a clever lady-like-way nowadays! I’ll give you some more nice advice concerning the wood-business!!

To exercise your teeth, you also can look for a big branch or stick. You can run with it, you can play with it, but most important you can bite on it, and chew on it! That’s good exercise!

But listen very carefuly: you can NEVER eat it! That’s not good. Grandpa says it is dangerous! (And your mum will be angry, you don’t want that to happen, will you???)
Biting on wood: check! Chewing on a stick: check! Swallowing or eating wood: NEVER!

As before I show you in pics and video, so you surely get this lesson straight! 😉 🙂
Have a lot of wood-fun, young city-cousin! 🙂 ❤
Hugs, Kita

More misty morning fun!… Thanks to the ‘big means’!

Yep, I promised mum! I really did. I will never complain again about the going-away new tv-typing-machine. I won’t.

How so? You remember that my mum was filming a lot when I was playing with Plume, in the misty morning? And that mum could not get the video’s off the blinking box with her very little tv-machine? She said blinking box forgot them. Impossible, she said.

Today she said she would use the ‘big means’ for it! Grandpa was suddenly very alert! Big means? He does not like that. He thought we would get a bath: when mum says she will use the big means to get us clean, than it is bath-time… hahaha.

No, this time the big means did not mean bath-time but new tv-typing-machine-time. Mum was doing all kind of things and she was grumbling a bit as grandpa does, but then she yelled: YEEEEESSSSSS! Grandpa was wake instantly, he still thought about the bath, he! hahahahaha!
The sometimes-going-away tv-typing-machine did it! We have the video of me and Plume! Great stuff, mum says! And also of me alone, on the beach!

Plume and you, little one!

That’s what I say, grandpa, me and Plume.

Mum, teach her some manners! That dog over there calls herself a lady, please, do something about it! She is never polite!

Mum, that’s not true! I am a lady, am I not?

Stop it, shut up both of you and have a look at this video! 😉 Worse than kids! -Sigh-  😉

Misty morning… fun!

Mum says she loves these misty mornings of an indian summer. I don’t understand a word of it, should ask grandpa about it later.

So we go out, it’s morning all right. We go to the beach; mum just explained I have to wait till october to run free, I’ll have to stay on  the leash. Half a mile further on? A kind doggie of the leash. Mum is a bit of a liar… 😉

Oh so? This far from the people we can play in the morning? And in the evening? Did mum hear this??? Yes, Plume and me, we can run and play!!! He is a mix of a fox terrier and a jack russell: stuborn in double, says his mum, but such a cutie! He is a rescue, like my grandpa!

Mum said she had at least 100 pics and ten minutes of video. Blinking box lost his memory: only 10 pics and 1 video… That’s a pity, now all my friends miss this fun! Mum is a bit angry with the blinking box! 😉 I’m happy it’s not me she is displeased with this time! 🙂

Yihaaaaa! … Water-business on fun-friday!

Okay, did I hear that well? Yes, I think I understand: break? And sea? YES! Grandpa, we go to the seaside! Did you hear it?

Little one, you want to expand your water-business? You should learn to wet your belly! 😉 hahaha!

Mind your business, grandpa! Your eating-business! 😉

Little one, don’t push your luck or I’ll teach you a lesson! Ggggrrrr.

Mum, we go to the beach, yes? There we are! We go to the waterside. What do you want me to do? Go in the water? Okay, that’s nice. It is quite hot today, that’s refreshing. What? Go further?
No way! I stay here. Mum, look, if you go further there will be water in your boots. I know you don’t want water in your boots and wet your paws! Well, I won’t wet my belly! That’s for sure!

A nice sir wants to make a pic of us too! That’s great! 🙂

Yep, I like fridays! 🙂

Providing souvenirs for eternity… advice for city-aire-girl Islay: part 2

Dear citygirl-cousin Islay,

I heard and saw you really learn a lot of my good advice! You know how to travel by metro and you do that fine! Congrats, you become a real citygirl!
Also heard you master the wallpaper-art I thaught you! Great!

Today’s advice is about getting your mum and dad some souvenirs for eternity, things they will not have on a real film or fototoot! I especially asked my mum to fototoot me with the eternal souvenir! You are at the right age now for doing a great job! You’ re teething these days… The old teeth as well as the new ones have to be exercised to become a well-mannered lady later!

So I suggest you choose a door and even better the best doorposts in the  house to exercise your teeth on! But do it in such a way that you create a real piece of art, of course! Be sure to make noices of which your mum and dad think it are the neighbours working in their home! 😉
I show you here a nice example! I’m still very proud about my masterpiece of puppy-hood! 🙂

Wish you success!! Big city-hugs, Kita

Third business started!… The water-business!

Since my first two businesses are doing fine: the holes-business and the running-business, I decided to start a third one! I think this is a great idea!

On wet days, when it’s raining cats and dogs or when the weather is fine… a dog needs water! No, silly, not only to drink, but to run in or to play in!
Mum says she is very curious about me getting into a water-business! She laughed… Yes, allright, I don’t like getting wet… I never want my belly to get wet. Don’t mind about my paws! But ladies don’t want a wet belly, that’s my opinion!

Never mind my mum! I’m in the water-business and the pics do proof it!

Mum says, this is a season-business! Only in summer! Not in the winter! I have to close the water-business during wintertime??? We’ll see! 😉

Applause, please!… For grandpa!

Remember I told you that mum found me two new dogparks? A huge one and a little one? Me and mum, we always walk to the dogpark. Grandpa walks to the little one too! That’s quit an achievement for his old paws and bones, he says himself! He did not know he still could do it! 😉

The huge park is really too far away for him! That’s a pity and he was a little jealous when I told him about this huge park. 😦 So I told mum and asked if dad could find a solution for this problem. Grandpa should see the huge park too!

Big surprise tonight. We were riding in the car! And I saw where we were going. We started in the right direction and rode on and on and… YES! Grandpa, you’ll see it! You’ll see it! Grandpa, don’t sleep now, come on!

I barked when we got out the car to tell grandpa. That was not good: no barking in the street!! But then we entered the huge park. You see it, grandpa???? 🙂 Here it is!

Jees, little one, for once you did not exaggerate! It is a huge dogpark! 🙂

Of course he did not go all the way to the other side, of course he did not run all the time as I do – but he ran a bit!-, of course he did not dig holes… But who cares? He did a real big walk, he sniffed a lot and he was not jealous anymore. Think we’ll do that again… I heard mum and dad talking! 🙂 Sssstttt… 😉

Blinking box was there too but it was a bit too dark for good pics! I show them anyway!! 🙂
