Fototoot… for far away workaholics… :-)

Mum, why do you want to make a fototoot? We see all this twice a day, at least. That’s nothing special! What? Is it special for far away friends? Oh, we make this fototoot for the far-away-friend who gave me my duck? He has a lot of work to do and we want to cheer him up a bit? Okay, I’m ready! There we go!

Mum, will he recognize all these buildings from so far away? When he was in Belgium last time, we were near the buildings, remember? Maybe we should go there for the fototoot?

No? Is this better? Okay, we walk and we toot! πŸ™‚ And no, I will not pull you in the river Scheldt, I won’t.

Stop pulling! Tide is high!

But it smells interesting here! πŸ˜‰

No crisis in my business! … Starting a second one!

After I took the important decision to go out off the tree-business and start the hole-business, I noticed that I’m quit good in doing business! And I like it too!

Every morning, in my huge dogpark, I inspect the holes, of course! Here and there I do some adjustments too, of course!

But then I noticed another thing! I could start a second business, even more rewarding! πŸ˜‰ I’m now in the running-business too since yesterday! And I earn a lot! No, not money, silly! I earn treats! πŸ™‚

If I run quickly and very far, my mum calls me, or makes that movement to make me come or whistles me and I hurry myself as quick as I can to her! She loves that, no, she adores me coming to her, all smiling and happy! And then!!!! I get payed! These days business goes very well, because I’m in the dried chicken payments! πŸ™‚ My favorites!
What does she say? I’m a spoiled doggie? Please, mum, I’m a spoiled LADY! And I don’t care I get a little less breakfast after all that chicken… Who cares about that??? Oh yes, grandpa would! πŸ˜‰

See for yourself: I’m a real business-lady!! πŸ™‚

How’s grandpa Lennox doing?… Just have a look! :-)

So many friends from Belgium and all over the world were asking: “And how is grandpa Lennox doing these days?”

Well, I said to mum we should show how he is doing! No, not while he is eating, he is an Olympic champ , and in sleeping he is a champ too! That’s boring. Grandpa, we’re making a video of you, what do you think about that?

Don’t like that little one, you know it. Get out of my way. I’m doing my walk. Get aside, will you!!

Grandpa, don’t be so grumpy. You are famous because of your age! 15 years and three months, for a labrador, that’s old, very old! really very, very old! And my friends want to know about you!

Little one, don’t repeat it all the time, I know it better than you do that I’m old! My old bones tell me! 😦

Yes, mum, we made it! He is in the blinking box! You show it at my friends now?

Yes, Kita, yes!

Get out of my way

Get out of my way, little one!

Fun in funland?… Not too much… ;-)

Last weekend of the holidays! My mum goes back to her library on monday… Maybe fun for her, I prefer her to be home and do funny things with me. πŸ˜‰ Anyway, because it is the end of the holidays, we go to the sea, mum promised. And yes!

Yesterday the weather was not that very nice: we went to the beach in the morning but we made another trip in the afternoon.
On our walk, we saw a ‘funland’. I wanted to go in of course, everybody understands. I want to see and know everything. But this funland surely is not that much fun for aire-ladies. See it for yourself in the pictures.

Afterwards I met a running doggie that did not move! I did not understand too well! The doggie was with his mum but my mum did not want to come for the pic…
The flying birds, attached to the pillar did not move either. Strange world we live in. But then came a real nice doggie say hello!

Me?… I’m going in a new business! ;-)

In my new huge dogpark, there is no crack willow. But I’m not sad at all! On the contrary: I made a decision! Sometimes in life, you have to change your business. That’s what my mum says! She was a teacher for a million of years and now she is a library-mum. Sometimes she is right, you know… but sssstttt.
So I decided yesterday I go in another business with a lot more opportunities, oh YES! πŸ˜‰

I leave the tree-business and I go in the hole-business! Even more fun! And I think mum agrees… she always was a bit afraid with this tree-business! For that I’m training new skills: the digging skills and the going-under-the-ground-skills! I’ll keep you all updated. πŸ™‚
This morning I already did some negociations with new friends. Mum took few pics but then the blinking box was naughty: it wanted breakfast badly! 😦 Anyway, in one of the pics, I imitate Hunting Henry… Can you find me? (last picture)

A witch circle??? … Am I bewitched now?

This morning, mum was in a hurry. So we did not go to the huge dogpark, but to the little one nearby. That’s allright with me, mum promised we would go to the huge one this afternoon.

Two doggies left when we arrived, never mind! πŸ˜‰ I found something very strange! I found mushrooms! But the mushrooms were grewing in a strange form! I was sniffing and mum came to have a look! She laughed and said that I was in a witch circle. Wich circle?Β

No, Kita, a witch circle!

What on earth is a wichy circle? What is she saying, my mum? I’m bewitched now? She’s talking a little bit strange! What? Fototoot? I understand that! Yes, I’ll pose with the wichy mushrooms if you like! And I’m not wichy, really not! 😦

Bewitched, Kita, bewitched! πŸ˜‰

Traveling by metro… advice for city-airegirl Islay: part 1.

Dear city-girl cousin Islay,

Becomig a city-aire-lady is not as easy as you might think! You have to learn and experience a lot more than running and socialising in a dogpark. Yes, that’s important too! So, dear Islay, I think this lady could give you some hints and advice. Today is about traveling by metro. I think you call it the subway! Read this carefully, my dear!

1. You may never take the escalator! That’s forbidden and dangerous. If there is no elevator, you take the stairs!

2. Going down the stairs you stay next to your mum, same step! Never pull on the leash or you and mum will fall and roll of the stairs!Β That is not the target!Β Nevertheless: be sure not to miss the interesting smells! Train your mum to patiently wait from time to time!

3. Arriving on the platforms always look around carefully: I remind you of this: you are your mum’s bodyguard! That permits you interesting sniffing at the same time! πŸ˜‰

4. When entered in the tram, control the place carefully! Your mum’s safety is at stake! Than lay down for the lenght of the drive but be sure to take as much place as you can. Your mum will be gratefull, people won’t be able to bounce her! πŸ˜‰

5. When getting out, be patient and let others go out first!

6. When going up the stairs you can stay one step ahead of your mum, to make place for her. This won’t lead to rolling down. πŸ™‚

7. Bark or whine when necessary but please don’t overdo it! People will be mad at you! Aire-ladies don’t disturb people!

Well, dear Islay, to be sure you get the picture, we add a video with the instructions. Take the time to see it, although it is a bit long. And don’t get to dizzy or tired… Β  πŸ˜‰

Big news… big new dogpark!

Really, some days I must admit it… Some days I can’t do anything else than agree with my mum! Mum told me she found two new dogparks for me! A big one, a very big one and a little one. Which one do I prefer to explore? The big one, of course!

We had to walk a little longer! Pfff, hope this park is big, otherwise it’s 800 meters (half a mile) for nothing!

There we are! Euh, mum, where is the fence? No fence? Too big for a fence? Is this just like the beach? I can run free? I can run off the leash? Mum, are you sure? ha, that’s why she took the treats I like most! There is no fence, beach-treats! I’ll act like a lady! πŸ˜‰

Kita, sit!
Free!

This is not big! This is huge, this is mega-big, this is enormous! My dogness! Where shall I run first? I even meet a new friend: Hodin. Hodin says we should come earlier, all friends are already gone home again.

Indeed, I have to admit it: she is right, my mum: this is a big park to run! I agree, mum! πŸ˜‰

Today is about… Tom Thumb and the Giant

Yes, there is holidaymum! She often comes to the dogpark with the doggies staying at her place! Tonight she has 4 friends with her! Little Lily (who always escapes, so she is on the leash), Lokum, Sammy and… Soeka!

Well, I like this brown, big Newfoundlander-Soeka-girl! But when she plays, a small aire-lady has to be very careful not to end under her! I’m happy she is not in the judo-business and that she never heard about ippon. I hope she never mets Gitte so she won’t learn about it…

And she does a lot af talking! Mum filmed. I was so tired after some time and I only found one solution to stop her: I jumped on the table! πŸ™‚ She did not follow! And I had some rest. Normally mum yells that I should get off but this time, she saw me and she did not yell. I suppose holidaymum said that I earned a bit of calming down… πŸ˜‰ Anyway, I got Soeka’s admiration and afterwards, she stayed calm… oufff!!!

Newsflash : big spectacle… really big spectacle!

Ohlalala! What is going on? We arrive at the dogpark and everybody is running! Dogs are running: that’s normal, of course! That’s what dogparks are for! But… also the mums and dads are runnng! My dogness… I’m going to have a look!

Sit, Kita! Sit, are you aren’t running anywhere!

Aaai, forgotten… I have to sit before I can get off the leash. Okay, I sit!

Free!

What? Really? Farith got a rabbit and is eating it? And the mums want to take it from him? He runs, he eats and when somebody, dog or mum, is approaching, he runs! I agree with him: I should do the same! πŸ™‚ … And we cannot follow him! 😦

In the end, he was caught and he had to leave his rabbit, poor guy! Mum was very awake this morning, she got pics… yes, she did!!!
