5!… 5!… 5!… 5!… I am 5 years old!

29th of January 2011 – 29th of January 2016: half a decade of Kita Van ’t Asbroek! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Mum, who is Decade? Will I meet him today? No? Why not? I still have to wait another 5 years? Oh! And why do you hope time will go slow in the meantime in stead of time flying by? Getting older… Mum, listen, I don’t understand what you say! 😦

What? It is my Birthday today? My dogness, and you only say it now? What’s on the program? Big run on the beach? New toy? Extra treat? And I can have a nap in the seat next to dad? Oh, my dogness, let this party-day start!!! 😉 ❤

So… I had my big run and made a new friend: Poncho: 12 years old! He is a “braque d’Auvergne”. Same age as my Grandpa when I arrived in the house! 🙂 I got my toy: a striped horse that makes a funny noise! But when I tried to destroy it mum took it away for another time! Got several extra treats… 😉 And my nap in the seat! That’s the biggest treat! hahahaha! 😉

Lady Kita… on family-visit!

When I go for my New Look, I go visit my family too! Well this time, I saw a lot of family members! ❤

First of all, there was Mizzy! Mum, I’m a lady, is Mizzy a Miss?  Don’t you know?
She came to play with me while I was waiting for mum and dad who were talking and talking and talking. But I did not mind of course: playing is fun! 🙂

And there: well, well, that is my uncle Klassico, Chico for the friends! He is the one with the tree-climbing-genes. Got that from him, I suppose! 😉

The two real ladies Van ’t Asbroek were home too! It and Many Roses. They did not pay attention to me… they were running to their very huge park, to go playing! 😉

Last but not least, I want you to meet my granny! Yes, yes, yes: Cita is my real grandma. That means she’s the doggie mum of my doggie mum Funnygirl (Fun for those who know her well). My granny is 13 years old and still quite a lady! ❤ I think she looks like a queen. ❤ My mum hopes I will be like my granny when I’m that old! We have many, many pics of her and I want to show them all! 🙂 That’s because I’m so proud of my beautiful granny!

And all these dales have my name: Van ’t Asbroek! Isn’t that nice? Oh no, little mistake: the gentleman you see with me and Mizzy, that’s Sunset of the Aire Victory: Sunny for the friends! But he is part of the family, you know! 🙂

PS My family has a lot of airedale stuff too! Very beautiful! And the nice painting of my grand, grand, grand, grand… grandmother! 😉

Me… and the New Look! :-)

Well, a few days ago I decided I needed another look… a new look it will be! That was after the children calling me a sheep too when I was walking a bit with my buffalosheep-friends! 😦

Mum did agree and dad too! So we left very early to go to the hairdresser’s where I got my new look! That was quite a job! I left a lot of Kita over there, and I came back with my New Look. 😉 ❤

In the huge dogpark they had to look twice, the mums and dads… but there are things which will never change:

  1. I still fly to my mum when she calls me (proof of the flying in the pics!)
  2. I still behave like a lady at the treats-party of Rea’s mum! (proof in the pics!)
  3. I still pose nicely for the fototoot of the New Look! (proof in the pics!)
  4. I still protest loudly when mum wants us to go home. (proof in the pics)

You see: a look is one thing, but being Kita is the real thing! ❤ 🙂

Lady Kita… meatballs… and the meatball-beast…

Strange and unfair, that’s what I think about it! Listen! Few weeks ago, another mum and dad came to dinner. I like that news because things will be prepared and I’m the inspector of the kitchen, you know! Inspection business! Mum was cutting meat and then she started to make these balls! That’s fun! Big sunday-play-party… with small and big friends!

Yeeey, to the beach, mum? Yes, and it does not rain! That is nice!

This sunday morning was a big beach-play-party! Imagine this: three new friends! ❤

First: Sam, the little brown one.
Second: Gitte, the little grey one.
Third: Orca, the very big one, with my colours.

And the there were all the rainbows. You could not believe it! I was a bit puzzled though, looking and watching and searching… Mum, and where is that Bridge? I see the Rainbow, I don’t see the Bridge! Can’t I see grandpa? 😦
But then I went playing, mum surely explains it later! 🙂

Mum made lots of pics and also a very short video. Yes, a short one! Because it started to rain cats and dogs (which I could not see, just like the hidden Bridge) and everyone hurried home! 😉

Like you to meet… Chaco and Bambou!

Grey sky or not, we go out and we go for a run. That means: I go for a big run and play, mum goes for a walk. This morning was a bit special!

I met two new friends! First of all: Chaco! Just like me, he is in the runnning business and in the playing business! But then, he is not only in the water business, this guy is also in the swimming business! He knows the sea very well, he lives here! Mum said I could swim too if I wanted… hahahaha, she really likes joking, my mum! I turned back when my belly got wet! Mum and dad of Chaco had to laugh… 😉

Bit later also came Bambou, the one with the nice pull over! First he was on the leash, but when his dad saw he could play with us, he got off too! 🙂

Lots of fun! And… I have a date for tomorrow morning!!! 😉
