Crisis in the woodbusiness?… Not here…

Dear Islay-cousin

Read it last night in the modern newspaper on the tv-typing-machine… about the failure in your wood-business. I understand you were not available for comments. I wouldn’t be either!

Here the wood-business is fine. This morning near the little dogpark, I have filled my stock with new wood… Can I help you out, my dear? I made you some pictures to choose some of it!

Don’t be too sad about all this, I know you are creative enough to start a new business or even two or three with lots of success! I keep my paws crossed. Update me in time, will you?

Big hugs

Kita

Sunny saturday… play-day!

Today was a very sunny day! No, it was not sunday yet, it was saturday! Me and mum (sorry, grandpa!), euh, mum and me, we went to the huge dogpark! We met a lot of doggies and mums and dads. We forgot about the time, we were on huge-park-trip for almost 2 hours! 😉

I did play a lot, a bit with Katie, a very nice white shepherd-dog but she does not hear anything: she is deaf. But she sees for two an does agility! And then I played a lot with Bo, the cute retriever! I like him! ❤

And at one moment I made all mums and dads laugh, but mum has no pics! 😦 How that came? Well, I got the ball of another dog, of a German shepherd. As you know I hate the fetch and bring-game. What I get, is mine, I do not want to give it to mum if I can play with it with the other doggies… But mum wanted the ball! We all wanted the ball. Bo’ s dad had a treat. We were all sitting to get the treat and yes, it was me who was going to get the treat! Difficult situation! Had to think a bit. I had to drop the ball to take the treat. Should I? Yes, of course. I dropped the ball, put my paw on it and took the treat. Everybody was laughing! They were laughing with me, putting my paw on my ball! That’s what my mum does too, when she wants to keep the ball! I do not laugh then! 😦

Incredible … but true!

I was in my bed! Having a big nap because today is free friday and we went to the huge dogpark. I had a very busy morning in all my businesses! 😉

So, I was napping! Mum sits quietly at the tv-typing-machine when she starts yelling: Kita, look at this! More then 100 countries! I open one eye to make clear I want to nap! She is excited though! My story-telling-page on the tv-typing-machine is sending a message! Something about countries! Are that doggies mum? More then 100 doggies see my stories?

Why does she laugh, my mum?

Ohoh, now she says the D*-word! What did happen? Message is gone and not saved? Ohlala, mum is not pleased with the tv-typing-machine… But my mum has an idea, that’s why she is my mum: she has ideas and not only about her library, also about the tv-typing-machine. She says she is smarter than the machine. But not smarter than me, he, mum???
She’ll make a tv-pic she says, to show this unbelievable thing!

Friends in more than 100 countries – still don’t get it, me, although I’m smart! – came to look to me?!!! Mum counted on the pics: 102! Is your country on the list? Have a look!!!

Cooking with Kita… part 8.

Mum, listen,  more than a year passed since we did some ‘cooking with Kita’. I think my sister Féline needs a new recepy! I know you do not like cooking at all, but we can prepare something “quick” and delicious, can’t we? Please, mum? Mum, and maybe, Duke’s mum will try this too, in Canada? Like the other thing we made? (https://everydayanairedale.com/2013/08/27/flemish-cooking-with-kita-part-7/) Oh, mum, and we can secretely (ssstttt) pass the recepy to Chef Mauricee in Australia too, for his cooking show, can’t we? But we won’t tell anyone, will we? 🙂

Okay, okay… you win, Kita!

As always, grandpa would say! 😉 What is she going to make? Oh, she takes something out of the very, very cold cupboard! Fish! mmmm… With princess beans! I’m in, mum, I’m in!! Oh, the very easy, yummy recepy! 😉

There is that big blinking bag, we put the beans in. Not all! Some go in my snout and stomach! ❤ At least one pic to laugh with, mum says! Than the fish, with the cream and spices. Of it goes in the oven! Mum peels the potatoes to cook them! Again, not all! I get some raw potato too! Yummy, but I only get a little part… 😦

Half an hour later, I keep an eye on that!, everything is ready! Oh me, this time I can not taste anymore, mum says! Too hot for aire-ladies. I have a good sniff and I go back to my bed… if I can’t have some, I disappear! What do they think? I’m not the begging lady of the house! 😉

More ‘remembering’?… Okay, more remembering to do!

Mum says it’s november. Yes mum, you already explained that, I’m not as silly as grandpa used to think! 😉

What’s new about november that I don’t know yet? Remembering to do? Again? I already did… it will get boring, you know! What does she say? Other kind of remembering? Honouring the dead? Normally on the first of november? To busy, we prefer quiet days?
Mum, this goes too fast for me! Just tell me: what’s on the program?

Okay, we go out, in the car! Like that! If grandpa is not in the car – so from now on: always – mum sits next to me to be sure I don’t get ill! We like that cuddling part of going somewhere. Mum tried – with the accent on tried! –  to make some sies!

Selfies, Kita, selfies!!!

I like making sies, it’s fun! Anyway, we get out in several places and go to places with lots of flowers. We visited mum’s human parents again! I already know them! We take little flowers to them, they like that! Mum’s human mum was great with flowers and plants! That’s how my mum learned it and mum’s human pup learns it from my mum…  And the books, mum? Was your human mum also a library-mum? Oh, she was not? But she loved reading and she loved books? I see! 😉 And of course she was a dog-mum, wasn’t she? 🙂

Yes, Kita, she was!

We also go and see other people… Nice day, after all, think I kind of like all this remembering-stuff! ❤

Big news! I met another… airedale lady!

Wednesday! Huge-park-day! And it does not rain, that’s nice!

Well, we just arrived and started walking in the direction of the pond, when we had a big surprise! I saw it first of course and went to have a look!

Yes, yes, it does not happen every day or week or month, but I met an airedale lady: Azeris. Hope I remembered her name well! 😉 Her dad and my mum were talking a bit. She comes from France, from Brittany. Azeris is 13,5 years old. That’s like my granduncle Apollo, isn’t it, mum? She is exactly ten years older than me! That makes her a grandpa, no? Like Apollo and my grandpa Lennox!
My dogness, mum, why do you laugh at me? 😦

A grandMa, Kita, a grandMa! She is a lady!

Oooh, don’t laugh at me! I only know grandpa’s, me! (I’m glad grandpa did not hear this stupidity!!!) So she is a grandma, but she is a very pretty grandma and still walking and running! We explored a lot and we even went in the water… Azeris does not swim anymore, she does not wet her belly anymore! I like this grandma-lady. 😉 ❤

Hope we’ll see her again soon, will we, mum?

I did my best to remember all dales in all times in all situations… just by playing!

Today is the 10330283_10203755921808106_6623497013547792980_n (1)11th of November. Mum says this is a special day. We should remember!

I should remember my ancestors who died in the wars! Mum, what are you talking about? Who is an ancestor? Ooh, it is long-time-ago-family? Where there dales in the war? Helping soldiers! That’s brave and fearless!

And yes, I will remember them! Can I do honour them playing a lot today? Is that a good idea to bring peace?

So we went to the huge dogpark! Lot of friends were there! Sultan was there. Saw him on sunday too! We played and played! 🙂 He is good in the ball-business, he is good in the water-business and he even is good in the digging business! ❤ Brave guy! That’s all to remember the cestors, mum!

Ancestors, Kita, ancestors!

Later we met little Zora, 7 weeks old! She is a little darling. Afraid of nothing between all this big and even fighting dogs! Peace, gentleman-doggies, peace, please. To honour the cestors, mums says!

Oh, Kita! <sigh>

Today? … I am the gentle giant! :-)

Learned my lesson few days ago… Some doggies are extra large, some are medium, some are small… That means that some days this lady has size Small. 😦 Being the little one! 😦

But some days, like today, I have size XL! Then I am NOT the little one! This morning we went to the little dogpark because we did not have the time to go out for a long time. We went away with the car afterwards… Story for tomorrow.

So we went to the little dogpark nearby. Yes, one of my friends was there! Bianco! Okay, today I am the tall one! 😉 I play gently with Bianco, size small! I try to be a gentle giant too! 🙂 This lady always is friendly with little doggies, but today I was a gentle giant-airelady! 😉

The little one and… the gentle giants!

Maybe Grandpa was right! Could never figure it out… He always called me the little one. I am taller than he was! When I said so he got angry and always kept calling me the little one.

Maybe, he was right, my grandpa. 😕 This morning we went to the huge dogpark. I was running around and suddenly mum said: Look there Kita! Some new friends for you! Mum was waving her arm to the mum of my new friends and finally that mum saw us! It was a mum of mum’s work! They know each other! 🙂

And there they came… my new friends! Holy dogness! Three giants! Yes, grandpa, I am the little one here and now… 😉 But be sure of one thing! You also would have been a little one in this situation! 😉

The giants are very friendly, they sniffed and then we played. Jamie, the biggest one, Keara and Kato, the black one: they are very nice and… they like treats, just like me! 🙂
Both our mums made pics. Mum with the blinking box and the other mum with a big black box. I suppose you need a big box for pics of these gentle giants! 😉

Anyhow pics are great.

And my mum filmed us playing! ❤

A lady? Yes… but… a rebellious one!

Okay, when mum came home late this afternoon I was hungry and I got my dinner all right. Later dan normal, there was a metro-strike… That’s not my business, metro-strikes. I want my dinner in time.

So after dinner I thought I should teach mum and her metro-strikes a little lesson! 😉

First rule in the house? Ladies are only allowed to bark when the door bell rings! Not today, when I’m in a rebellious mood I bark at whatever, but not the door bell! Haha, mum was not pleased! She even had the blinking box… That did not please me so I stopped it. Mum won again! She always wins! 😦

Second rule in the house: don’t touch anything on shelfs or cupboards. Grandpa was quite good in that! So I learned from him not to… Today mum was arranging some things and she did put something on a shelf quite near my bed… I wanted to sniff! No! I had to go in the bed, but I did not want to… I stayed beside the bed, looking at that new thing down there. So did mum… looking at me… After more than half an hour, I gave up… mum won again. 😦

What do you say? Oh no, I won’t touch it in the future: I’m a lady! What did you think? An airedale lady? 😉 Yesyes, but a well behaved one, although I can be rebellious! 😉 Mum says that’s why she loves me: rebellious but well behaving in the end… ❤ Love my mum too! ❤ Late dinner and metro-strikes or not! 😉
