Green clothes and … numbers!

Today is about good news, bad news and good news! Lot of news! hahaha!

First the numbers… That was the first good news: More than 100.000 views on my story-telling-pages! Well, that is special… when me and mum started this, her friend from the library who learned us this, well he made a joke… He said try to get 100.000 views and laughed with it! Mum’s friend follows too and is impressed by the more than 70 countries from which friends are following… Well, let’s go on fototooting and telling and go to 200.000! 🙂

Than the bad news! Me, I was going to the green clothes! I explained it to mum:I’m all healthy again! No poo-pee anymore! Nothing helped! Off we went to the green clothes. Dad came too… Ohoh, that means injections…   😦  They hold me both then because I don’t like that! First I had to sit on the scale: 23,500 kg (= 51,8 lbs). Green clothe said: Perfect. 🙂 I know, I’m the perfect imperfection, that’s what mum always says. 😉

Then to the consulting room. No, I do not jump on the table. Ggggrrrr, dad is more stubborn than I and in one second I’m up there. Mum giggles. Green clothe is nice. He says I’m wearing a very nice collar (Molly, Monty, Winnie and Taffy: you read this???). He’s petting me while examinating me! He’s nice: he gives treats! All green clothes are nice at this hospital: they all give treats (if you are not ill) (http://www.vvd-dierenkliniek.be)
So I got three vaccinations, a little later than normally because I was ill… remember. Mum has no pics but I asked her to show my passport, especially for Islay’s mum, to show how it is in Belgium. Our green clothes say that this is important!

With every shot I did a very small bark to tell I felt it. Green clothe giggled and said I’m a vocal type! What does he mean??? 5 treats?  🙂  Yes, I’ll jump off the table all by myself, thank you! What does he explain? Come back in four weeks? For 5 treats? Of course! Treats were very small, but 5 treats are 5 treats! 😉

And then? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…

Rock climbing à la Dusty… and spring cleaning in summer…

Mum says it is too hot to go to the dogpark this afternoon: 30° C, in the shadow. In the sun it is a lot more, she says… So we go to the park for a lazy walk. That’s what she says…

Lazy?… We met a rock! Mum said something about Dusty to be very pleased in this situation? Why? He climbs on it? Not in trees but on rocks? I have to try that too! Ohohoh, it’s not easy, this rock climbing… Sit down? No way!! He is quit a hero, Dusty! I prefer my tree! 😉

Then we had a rest in the daisies-grass. At least, mum had, I was sniffing around. Mum said she did not see my most beautiful side, while resting! 😉 lol!

Afterwards we went home and mum was going on with this kind of spring cleaning! In the middle of summer! 🙂 And? … She found me! I mean: she found the drawings of me when I was about 7 or 8 months old. It was a birthday present of one of mum’s friends. For a long time the drawings were on the wall, but now mum is going to get them in some wood before putting them back, she says… What does she mean???

Anyway, I take a nap… zzzzzz….

Mum says… big news!

Mum, why are there no friends in the dogpark? We have holidays, why don’t they come? What does she say? Maybe they have no holidays?

Mum, really, I don’t know what you are talking about! What does it mean “apporteren”? Oh, you throw the toy and I fetch it and I bring it to you?? Do you think that I think that is a good idea? Bring it to you? If the toy is for me, why should I bring it to you? Explain me that! Oh, you will throw it again? What for? To fetch it again and bring it to you?
My dogness, that is a bit silly, no? But if I can do you a pleasure to play this silly game with you, well, let’s try! 🙂

Okay, she throws. I’ll run after it! Now she calls me, I go to her, without the toy! Seems not be how it should be, I go back to fetch the toy. Now I run to mum.

Sit, Kita! Sit! In the hand!

Ohohoh, she has a treat? I sit. And then I give the toy in her left hand, I get the treat from her right hand! Mum is very pleased! Very pleased!

Well done, Kita!

She throws again? Think this must be the same procedure! Okay: run, fetch, run, sit, give it, treat. Think I like it a bit. ❤ Again and again, even without treats! And again… 6 times! Mum, this is enough! Enough is enough, this toy is mine! I stay here.
What do I see? A little friend entering the dogpark? YES!

Toy is forgotten!

When we go home mum says this is quit some news… me bringing the toy to her, several times! Mum, listen, I’m a lady and I (sometimes) can behave like a lady, just to please you! 😉

By the way, mum was so impressed that she forgot to check the blinking thing. She tought she was filming, but she only has pics… You’ll have to dream the running! lol! 😉

News flash! … Guarding alert!

This afternoon in the dogpark: big alert! When we came in: there was that huge machine! No one else to see to guard the park! My dogness, do I have to do this now?

Okay, I barked! And barked again! Then mum and me we saw the dad of the machine and we had a talk. I mean: mum did the rest of the talking, I did the cuddling. I sniffed at his pants, he is a dog-dad too, so I could cuddle! 😉

The dad and his machine were mowing the grass in the dogpark, mum explained later! That’s super! Thank you, machine-dad!

Today’s world?… So strange and not to understand…

Mum, really, the world today is very bizar! I told grandpa about what I saw today and he says this is very strange, indeed! We don’t understand. 😦

Why those boats sail in the streets? Normally they need water to sail in? No? And my dogness!! You always told me that our Moby Dick had to be in his water-house and I could not play with him. He can not live without water, that’s what you explained to me… Why these fish are they not in a water-house? Tell me that! They will swim in the street??? It must be strange anyway, because all those people are looking at them!

Ouf, the giraffe is still in his crate, with the children… 😦
But mum, did the storm make this bizar sand-creatures? And why can’t we go near them? Storm makes this for us to play with, I think! Strange! Even the human pups can not touch!

Mum, heeeelp! Help these horses! They are nailed on that circus-thing and are turning around all the time! They must get sick! 😦 Please, do something, now!!

Everything is well that ends well! We met Mila: a very nice puppy border collie. Hello sweetie! Back to normal life! 🙂

Time for a … fashionshow! ;-)

She promised, she promised! Remember? Mum said I would get a real raincoat this weekend. There is a Dutch saying that goes as follows: “Belofte maakt schuld”. Translated it would be: a promise is a promise (and you have to keep it!). So this morning we went to the doggie-clothes-shop (where they sell treats too – love this shop!). The sir in the shop first did measure me! Imagine! Measuring a lady! 😦
Don’t like to be touched by strange men!!! Anyway mum said I should stand still and make no moves. Ggggrrr.

It’s clear: big dogs need more raincoats than small ones. Were a lot of coats for small doggies, not that much for big ladies… Had to try them of course. 😦 What a job. At the end, when choice was made – mum was a great help I have to say – I got some treats of the nice fashion-shop-sir.
Mum also bought buffalotreats for me and grandpa. 🙂

At home, it was time for a real fashionshow. Grandpa said that’s ladystuff and went to take a nap. 😉

Afterwards we both got our buffalotreat. Grandpa left his at his bed after biting and eating a bit. Me, I tried to get two, of course! Ohlalala, mum always sees everything! 😦 End of the story: grandpa got his one back!

Mum, listen!! Islay’s mum has commented the fashionsshow! Put it here with the pictures, please!!
… And here we have Kita, wearing a functional, minimalist raincoat of water resistant sateen, with a matte peter-pan collar and two slimming waist bands. Straight from the runway of Jil Sander, she looks effortlessly chic and comfortable. Her matching stiletto manicure says, “I prefer not to be measured by strange men, but I will take a treat. Thank you!” …

Mum a bit mad at me because of… treasure inspection!

You read it! It happens!! Mum was a bit mad at me,oh yes, she was! How come?

This morning we made a long walk on the beach. There was a big storm yesterday and tonight, and then there are a lot of things to find on the beach. 🙂 Interesting stuff! Good smelling stuff! Fish! And then I ate one! Mum was angry. She yelled at me: Leave it. I did… at least a part of it and I quickly swallowed the rest. It was so yummy! What would you do? Mum was not even pleased with the left part! 😦 Could have eaten it as well. She says something about the poo-pee, remember? If I want that again??? No way…

So, on we went! We found lots of treasures! We found stars, stars of the sea. Mum, why don’t they give light? And why one has 4 paws and the other one 5? And somebody in the sea had his lawn mowed, there was green grass! You saw it too, mum? And this white thing? That’s for the birds of the human pup, no? And then we met a whole litter of crabs, all together!

Ooooh, my dogness! Look, mum! This comes all the way from the country of the silent wednesday-gang and little-already-big Apollo!! I want to take this home! What? She yells again? Twice in one hour? What do I do wrong? This is cooked ham, fresh from the sea!

LOS, Kita, LOS!

For my friends: LOS = Leave it! Poor me… Really, so much treasures to eat and mum forbids it. Okay, I go on strike and I sit and I will not move anymore! Forgot how stubborn my mum can be!  😦

We got home allright… strike or no strike… Even saw sea-grapes and sea-brains. Forbidden to touch too, what did you expect???  😉

Singing in the rain… and looking ridiculous! :-)

No, no, no! No way! You can pull as much as you want! No way!

Normally I don’t mind at all! Really! Rain or no rain, I want to go out and go to the dogpark! Not today! And mum asks why! Stupid mum! Really! What do you put on to go out in the rain? Your coat! Exactly! Shall I remember you for a moment that my coat is under the table at my doggiemum’s place?!! So I do not go into this heavy rain! Not without coat!
What do you say? You have no raincoat for me? Stupid mum! You have one, why don’t I have one? Oh, normally I have my natural coat? Not these days, remember???

What does she say? She has an idea? Will I look ridiculous? I don’t mind, but I will not go in this rain without coat. Ah, my winter-jumper? Not hot today? I will not feel the rain anymore? Well, okay, what’s the problem? Too big after washing so many times? Mum, stop argueing and put it on! 🙂

Off we go! To the dogpark! I look very ridiculous, she is right, my mum, I do agree but at least I can walk in the rain! 🙂 And climb in my tree! No friends… too much rain? They have no coat? Nor a ridiculous jumper? I have! 😉   Pics and film! 😉  A pity: film is longer than the music…

This weekend, I’ll buy you a real coat, Kita! Promised!

Newsflash: Red devils out… Kita in…

… in ‘The airedale terrier Year Book 2013″!

So the ball-thing that’s going on is little less thrilling from now on… at least for us, grandpa says. Although all the friends from everywhere were cheering! 😉 We’ll cheer for the others now, he says, than fun goes on! 😉

But the Red Devils are not the only famous ones here! Me, airedale-lady Kita is famous too! My mum got this present of my doggiemum’s mum! Yes, a book! For a librarymum that’s great news! But news is even a lot bigger than just great! This news is enormous! I, yes, me is in it!!! This airedale-lady Kita is in the book!

What do you think of that? Grandpa did not believe it at first. He says that I am overestimating myself a lot. So I ran to mum for help! She showed him the book and me in it. End of his remarks in this story. Just like the end for the red devils in their story… 😦

Proof? Look here! (Click on the pic to read the story…)

My dogness… Almost naked! Pppffff…

Hey little one, you really are the little one again! Hahahaha! So small! Hahahaha! 😉

Grandpa, don’t laugh at me! Just be jealous about my chicken, that’s enough! Don’t you think so?!  Grrr. And stop sniffing me! 😦

Shut up, little one! If that chicken makes you so small, I’m not jealous at all! But at least, you look less wild, hahahaha!

Don’t laugh too much! I had a nice trip, with mum next to me in the car, cuddling all the time! We went to see the mum and dad of my doggiemum Funnygirl van ’t Asbroek. And I did leave my clothes over there, yes, but with this hot weather you can be jealous again! I can get rid of my wintercoat, you can’t, hahahahaha! When I was ready, there was more Kita on the floor than on the table! Great pic!!!

Ggggrrrrrrrrr…

And then we stopped in Wild to buy strawberries and cherries!

You stopped in the Wild, in the bush??? I don’t believe you!

Bush? Who says something about the bushes? You really get old, grandpa! The place is called Wild!

Shut up and stop it, you two! Wilderen is the name of the place! And no, no sttrawberries and cherries for you two!

Mum, can we go out incognito again now???
