No relay run?… Other training!

Good news and bad news! The good news first? Yesterday evening my grandpa went to the vet’s place! He had to go for his annual vaccinations. The poor one, he does not like it at all, he simply hates it, my grandpa. Said he gained weight again because of his special food for the kidney thing… Less treats for him. 😦

That’s bad news, yes. But that is not THE bad news! He also got another shot of anabolics! Doping! You understand the very bad news? We can’t go to the doggie-olympics for the relay run, when they start organising them! 😦 Would not be fair to go in competion, with that doping. Grandpa says we can run anyway! He is always such an optimistic guy!

Mum said that if I want to go to these Olympics I can train another discipline: the circle-stay! That’s an awfully difficult discipline, at least for me! For those who are not familiar with it. It goes as follows: in the dogpark or on the beach or somewhere else where I am off the leash… I have to sit or lay down (I can choose) and I have to stay. That part is okay. But then mum walks away and makes the stay-sign. That’s okay too. 🙂  But then mum walks around me, a whole circle and I have to stay, I can not move… Oh, that’s not okay! There always is a moment I cannot see my mum!! 😦

But if I really will, I can… 🙂   Mum filmed the bloopers too… That’s the training, she says!

Oooh!???… Two more dales in the house?

If you ask me… the aire-family is not only an aire-family… It is also a parcel-family! Oh yes! On mondays mum has to work very late, till 20.00! So she comes home late! But there was another surprise for her! A parcel, again!

This time it did not come from so very far away! It comes from the country of the silent-wednesday-gang! Oh yes! I think that’s pretty far away, we can’t go there for a walk! So there was this parcel! In the parcel, nicely wrapped in very special paper, there were two airedales! Tell me!!! Two airedales in a dogpark with lots of poppies! That’s confusing, I already explained that… (for those who missed it: https://everydayanairedale.com/2013/07/13/poppies-poppie-poem/)

And mum wanted me on the picture with those two dales! Okay, mum, I’ll come up… Did not work that good. but she has a pic! 😉 She should not complain! 😉

Mum is very happy with the two airedales and the poppies! She loves them! 🙂 And now we show them to all of you! Mum says thank you to the airedale-mum who made them!!

Newsflash! Lady Kita becomes… une vraie Française!

Mano, I was in France, but I didn’t see you! Grandpa laughs, he says I had still 800 kms to go further to our friend Mano! Ohhh, so…

Anyway, I was in France, yesterday! Grandpa did not come, he needed his rest after the training of earlier this week. Mum and dad needed papers out of a machine, a big one! A nice sir did help a bit… he even did not pay attention at this lady. He was in a bit of a hurry! The big machine was in the railwaystation, mum said… What’s that? Oh, the train-place! Yes, I know about that. We have a big one in Antwerp too! One of the 14 most beautiful train-places in the whole world! We are on number six in the British list. You don’t believe me? Just look!  http://nl.metrotime.be/2014/04/21/featured/de-14-mooiste-treinstations-ter-wereld/
N
ewsweek in the States did put us on number four in their list! Which list you take, we are always in the first ten! 🙂

But I was talking about France! Mum says I will become a real French lady, all these times I already went to France, by car and on foot!
They have nice flowers in France and a nice little harbour too… We did not visit the big harbour… grandpa was waiting, waiting for his dinner… Can’t come too late, can we?

Olympics!… Here we come!

We are champions, we really are! Mind my words! We go to the Olympics and we’re going to participate in the relay run! Mum says we must be joking… Why? She says doggies are not allowed! Doggies no, but airedales and labradors??? They are allowed, no? Mum says no! My dogness, how stupid! We should start a petition to organise recreative-fun-Olympics for doggies!

Anyway, my macho grandpa always says he was a good runner in his younger days and yesterday he said, maybe a little overconfident, that he still is! At 14 years, 11 months and 1 week!!! And he said he would show it too! He said we would do a relay run.
I really did not know what he was talking about, I only understood: run. That’s what I can, yes, but him? He said he would show and explain, mum and dad learned him that when he was younger: the relay run!

So he did! My dogness! Took a while before I understood, I run everywhere normally, but yes, we did a lot of training! Guess that we’ll be ready when they organise recreative-fun-Olympics for doggies. Won’t we, grandpa Lennox?

Anyway: we got already our medals yesterday! Chicken treats and fish treats! Lennox got double treats! 🙂 We snored all evening and grandpa says: no training today! Next training? Only next week? 😦

Dinner.. at Kita’s place…

Breakfast… I do not like it that much… Grandpa likes everything that can be eaten: breakfast, lunch, dinner, treats, grass… whatever.

Me, I prefer dinner! Me, as a real lady I enjoy dinner. Me, I taste what I eat, I’m a mindful lady… Let’s not talk about grandpa today! Just watch him: I have my doubts that he does taste anything, eating that quickly! 😉

Hey you, young lady! Talk about yourself or shut up!

Don’t call me a liar, they’ll all see and hear it in the movie! 😉

What?… Good picture of the two of us???

Mum always says that we are so cute, me and my grandpa Lennox, when we are waiting for dinner! If dinner is involved, even grandpa wants to be cute and accepts a fototoot. If he smells dinner or something else to eat… well… mum says that’s because he is a labrador! 😉

So mum wants a very good picture of the two of us, grandpa being old and all that… She tried it in the dogpark, in the green grass… no way.. Okay, before dinner, she says! Hahahaha! Grandpa waited and waited for his dinner! hahahahahaha… I don’t mind, but he… hahahahaha! In the end I was very bored and he started talking about the dinner! 😉

A good picture of the two of us? You can dream about that… Reality? Mmmmm…??? Anyway, we were waiting for dinner! Pics and film of dinner are for tomorrow!!

Now the good picture of the two of us???

New!… Bottle-game!

When the weather is good, the mums and dads fill empty plastic bottles with water, at home and then they bring it to the dogpark. That’s for us! The water is! Normally not the bottles… But sometimes one of my friends gets a bottle and we can play with it. I used to steal one too if I could, when I still was a baby… Now I’m a lady and I don’t steal bottles anymore! 😉

Because I forbid you… otherwise!!!

So, since I’m a lady I don’t steal them anymore, whatever mum says! But if I find one in the middle of the dogpark, I can play with it! Mum just wants me not to chew on it! So, yesterday I found one! And played with it! Mum took pics and made a little comic with them! I added the comments of course, that’s my part of the job! 😉

New friend and… new beard!

This afternoon we went to the dogpark! Nothing new of course! That’s what you think!

When we came in, I saw a new dog, with a big ball! But the new dog was on the leash?? His name is Cino, his dad was telling. Cino is two years old and he is a rescue! He is only for week with his new dad. His dad says he is still a teenager and a bit dominant, so his dad is very, very careful. Mum likes careful mums and dads. She knows everything about a new rescue dog because of our bit dominant grandpa Lennox in his younger days. 🙂

But Cino and me, we became friends in no time of course! I’m a lady and friendly! Although I say this myself! Ladies welcome new dogs, especially rescues! That’s very important to make them feel welcome and happy! Grandpa’s wisdom. But grandpa did not play today! 😦  He and dad stayed a bit away to prevent difficulties! 🙂 I played carefully, as I should! 🙂

Anyway, Cino and me we played… little bit away from my mum and his dad and far away from grandpa! But mum had the blinking box ready and she said she zoomed in! What on earth is that?

After a while, we went home! When mum put me on the leash to leave the park, she laughed and laughed and laughed. She said I had a new beard. 😦  I barked to tell her to stop laughing and to go home! So we did! At home, I still had my new ‘willow-beard’. Then I could grin with it too! 🙂

A parcel for mum!… Coming from very far away!

No, it’s not mum’s birthday! Grandpa says it’s not Christmas or New Year! We don’t get it! There is a parcel for mum in today’s post…

She seems very happy with it! She says it comes from the other end of the world. Grandpa grumps… world has no end he says… Anyway, the parcel comes from very far away! And who sent it? Well, it was Aerem’s mum… You remember? Sweet Aerem who went to the rainbow Bridge not long ago! So his mum sent the package! Grandpa and I, we can have a close look! 🙂

I should have known! I really should have known… She is a library-mum, my mum. So, in parcels, most of the time, well… you know! Yes, there is a book in this parcel too! Mum shows it from a little further away! 😉 I get all excited! There are friends on it, airedalefriends! Oh, beautiful dales!
Mum says she will read it soon! She says there is a very sweet and kind little text in the book, written by Aerem’s mum herself. She says: Wonderfull!!!!:-) ❤

Mum, and can I have the cardboard now to play with? I did wait patiently, didn’t I?  Aerem’s mum especially put cardboard around it for me, to play with! You understand that, don’t you?

Yes, I can! When I finished playing, mum had a lot of cleaning to do… 😉

On special demand… Replay on another day!

There is that fan of me in Berlin… She is a bit special: she comes from the States and lives in Germany now. She absolutely adores airedales, but the poor misses, she has not one of her own! Oh, I think that is a big pity! That’s why she adores me so much and I love her! She often writes me: on my story-page and on the tv-typing-machine-book!

So when I asked to help me to surprise my mum… Remember, when I asked to break that record and then we broke two records??!!! She did help of course. And then she asked my help too! 🙂 Isn’t that great? Me, helping someone? I like it!!

So, on very special demand, I asked my mum to help me out and to make another pawplunger-video, especially for my friend in Berlin!

Here you go, Berlin!!! 😉 🙂 ❤
