Still possible…Incognito? ;-)

My mum says I have to come down to earth in stead of being too proud! Easy for her to say: she is not Kita, the airedale-lady! You need some explanations?

Few sundays ago, I was at the seaside (remember?) with mum and dad and grandpa en mum’s and dad’s friends. We had a long walk and went inside somewhere to have a drink (at least the mums and dads had a nice drink!). After a while i wanted to leave again and didn’t want to stay in the sit-position! 😉
Finally we got up and wanted to leave! A very friendly madame comes to us and says to me: You really are Kita? The Kita? The Kita of the blog? I tell you! I was speechless for a moment! So was my mum! Seems that this nice lady was the mum of one of my litter sisters! Born the same day! Her name is Manon! She lives in Belgium too! In Overijse, if I remember well! I’m famous, you see!

Then there is the new video: the Airedale World! With airedales from all over the world! Mum showed me! Lots and lots of friends! And guess what: I’m in it too! People can see me, Kita, all over the world. I’m there between all the other famous beauties! Can’t say I’m not one of the famous dales!

But then, last but not least, other big news! The human mum of my doggie-mum Funnygirl, asked me, Kita, to write “the Belgian news” for the terrier Year Book 2013 in the UK!  Imagine! By the way, what’s the UK, I asked? Mum says that’s the place where Sir Darwin is from and the silent-wednesday-gang lives there too.
Will they read it, mum, when the book is ready? 😉

I won’t be too famous to go out incognito, will I, mum? 😉

Hope so, Kita, because I’ll be there too, you can’t leave alone…! 😦 😉

Forgot to tell… but detective asked…

I forgot to tell this last week, because of all the vampire-excitement. It was the same day! In some shop mum got a present: a doggie-duck! A talking doggie-duck! People want me to play wit talking friends, these days! 😉

Oh, yes, that was what I did! I played a lot with it, mum heard me very well while she was cooking! 😉 When I got tired, I went to my bed for a nap!

What a surprise some time later! Mum wakes me up and shows me the duck! The poor thing lost her snail! How on earth is that possible? All while I was taking my nap?
Yes, mum, I know: grandpa Lennox does not do such a horrible thing! We have no cat in the house, we can blame neither! Okay, our goldfish is not able to hurt the duck, I understand! And you were cooking, so you are  innocent too! I really don’t understand!

Oh, my goodness… why is the evidence in my bed? Will somebody explain this to me? Yes, mum, I’ll hire a detective… Grrr, waf!

Before, after… and family-pictures.

Okay, there we go! I get out of the car, I see it! This is the place where my mummie Funnygirl lives… There’s her dad! He’ll give me a new look! See you later, mum! And I go to my doggie-family with wagging tail!

When mum comes back I’m playing with a few of my nieces: Mizzy and Manyroses. And one of my uncles gets a new look: Chico! He’s the familymember that likes climbing in trees… See, that I’m not that ‘not normal’! It’s all in the family! 🙂

When we come home mum makes the ‘after’-fototoot but I’m not in the mood, I move too much: pics are not very nice… 😦 And my new collar? A tiny bit too big, but mum says it’s allright. Mum says I seem so small without all my curls! Well, mum, don’t worry too much: within a few weeks… I’ll be “curly” again.

🙂 And I can see those big eyes again, so I see what you are up to!

That’s less good news! 😦 But the other news was okay: the vampire in the green clothes called dad and said the blood of my grandpa Lennox was a little better… 🙂 To be continued…

Grandpa Lennox at… the vampire’s place!

Strange! Very strange! After a little after-dinner-walk I have to stay home and grandpa Lennox leaves the house with mum and dad. That is strange! Grandpa prefers resting and napping after his walk!

There they are back! Grandpa lennox says they were at the vampire’s place! What’s that? Grandpa says I’m too young to understand but he explains: he has been with the people with the green clothes! GGrrrr. First the scale, of course! He gained some weight, after that kidney-thing, that was great news, he thinks.
Less good news… They took some blood with a needle in his paw! Ggggrrrrr, grrr. That’s what vampires do, he says, they drink your blood! I think vampires eat hair also: grandpa has a paw with a spot without hair…
Anyway, the green-clothes-people are going to check grandpa’s blood… whatever that means… maybe they will be sniffing a lot and tasting it?

Mum says she makes a little fototoot of his paw! Can I in the pic too? With my paw?

Kita!!! Photoshoot!!!

72 hours… and we are still talking! :-)

Last saturday, my mum went to her groomer’s! When she comes back, she passes by a pet store and she buys the things we need, my grandpa and me! When she came home, she told a bizar story! She got presents for us… just like that! No, not just like that… A holy Man: Saint Nicholas, was in the petstore and gave presents to all clients! And just this time, I missed it! Normally I can come too! 😦

Anyway, the Holy Man gave me a new little friend! A chicken I can talk with! 🙂 That’s what I do now, whenever I think about it! Mums says that it are too many times… me thinking of my new little friend! I often play and talk with my new little friend!
Mum is surprised! Very amused too! Don’t know why… She keeps saying: already 72 hours this new talking friend is in the house and the little one is still talking :-)… and so is the lady… 😦

Mum took pics and made a very little film so you can hear our conversation! Maybe, you can translate for my mum?:-) She does not understand our interesting talks! 😦

Me?… The most ‘mindful’ aire-lady ever!

Mum, I told you, you did sleep too long this Saturday morning! On weekdays we are too early in the dogpark to see the friends and on Saturday we are too late! Okay, you’ll have to play with me! Will you? Yihaaaa!! Fine, she takes my toy to play with. I like that!

It rained a lot and the dogpark is very muddy! Very, very wet and very, very, very muddy! Never mind, my mum never complains: she has a pawplunger… although, with all my curls nowadays, it takes time to get me all clean! But we like the cleaning-ritual, don’t we, mum? 😉

Okay, mum trows the toy, I fetch and I bring it to her. I nicely sit, give it in her hand… and I get a tiny treat! Mum says my bringing skills are improving… But after eleven or twelf times, I like to do something else… 🙂 I want to climb in the tree with my toy.

Kita, no tree today. Too wet, too dangerous!

What? We’ll see that. Oh, that face of hers is quit severe! Mum, listen, I won’t run in the tree, I will gently and slowly walk on it. Waf! If I’m a very careful and mindful lady, I can go up? Wafwaf! You always say it isn’t that high anymore since the branches “cracked” and rest on the ground. Wafwafwoofwaf! Please, mum, I’ll be a good girl! Waf 🙂
Yes, I see it on her face, she hesitates, I go up! Very slowly and carefully and cautiously and mindfully and…! Okay, she smiles and she takes the blinking box, it’s okay! 😉 🙂

I’m a good negotiator! 🙂 And this time I do what I promised… I admit and I agree (again!): it was a bit dangerous…

Holly?… Mum, what’s that?

We go outside… We do not have a yard or a garden, we have a terrace… I’m a city-lady! Remember?

Since the colour-time began, we don’t sit anymore on the terrace: too cold, my mum says! It’s at the north-side of the house. Mum likes it very much on the very hot summerdays: no sun, cool air… I agree! Agree? Again? Oh, my dogness, mum and me, we become really very close, we often agree these days!
Anyway, it is getting a bit dirty because of the rain and the cold and mum is getting some plants inside!

At once, she is very, very pleased! I have to come and have a look! I don’t get it. She shows a little tree, with pricking leafs: holly she calls it. Don’t like it. Know it pricks since I was a pup! Has always been there, that holly-thing!
What does she say? Red berries at the tree? Never had that before, in all that time, in ten years?! Berries? Okay, interesting enough now to have a look! 🙂

No, mum, really, don’t repeat it that often! I will NOT eat these berries! Not that I don’t want to try 😉 … but the berries are very well protected by the pricking leafs… 😦 Will have a look under the tree instead! 😉

It was fun… but I do regret… :-(

When I think it’s time to go out and play and mum is doing something else that she thinks is more important… well, I amuse myself, as a good girl.
I have a big box with lots of toys in it. I take them one by one and and drag them to somewhere in the house. I like that. Some of these toys are there my whole life, so some are old and others are new.

One of the very old ones, is my little elephant. I got it when I was a baby! I remember it well 🙂 My little elephant talks to me. When I gently bite on it, it says: piep, piep, piep!
So, while mum was busy in the kitchen, I started playing with it. I run around, I talked (mum yelled I couldn’t bark inside though!) and little elephant did talk too! But then I started biting and biting and felt something special! Biting, biting, biting…

Kita, what are you doing? You’re so silent? What’s that????

I don’t look, I don’t hear… I bite, of course! YES! pieppeieppiep. YES!

Kita, los!

What is mum doing here? I have to ‘leave’ my elephant? Okay! A command is a command!
She seems upset! Oh, I see why. My elephant can’t talk anymore… There’s a hole in it! Poor little elephant… 😦 Mus says she’ll try to sew it, but it will be a silent elephant… So I cannot swallow something she calls a squeek or something…

New toy :-)… Seaside: last part… :-(

Mum got me a new toy! She says she wants me running and playing a lot, so that I need a very long nap when we come home… 😉 That’s what she wishes, of course! 😉

But I was playing and running, and playing, and runnng… I love this new thing! Mum trows it and then I can run and play with it! We played at the beach, a week ago! I liked it very much! Maybe we’ll play with it in the dogpark too? When there are no other friends to play with? 🙂

By the way: she was right, my mum, I had a very, very long nap! :-)

Birds???… Oh, birds everywhere!

Told you already about the wind at the seaside, last weekend! Next day, there was less wind but…

In the morning, mum and me were going to the beach. It is still the period of the year I can run free, so when we were in the area for ‘dogs of the leash’, I barked and mum understood! She putted me off the leash! Yihaa!

I ran immediatly to the water but then I had to stop and have a good look first! – Mum did laugh about it! – Oh, what’s that?  Birds! Very many birds! My dogness! I look at mum: can I go there? I run a bit and look at her again… She is not yelling NO, so I run again! When I approach, the birds fly away, but not far. I run again, they fly again… Look at mum, no reaction! Okay, I can play with these birds! This is a fun game!! 😉 Of course there was the blinking thing, filming and fototooting! 🙂

In the afternoon, we went back to the sea. I told grandpa Lennox about the birds and he wanted to come too! Big disappointment! No birds anymore! :- (I was glad mum made the pics or grandpa would not have believed me! 😉

Hey, silent wednesday-gang in the UK: you like the beach too, this film is especially for you and your mum! 😉
