Hairdresser’s and… family visit!

Few days ago, I went to the hairdresser’s! Oh yes, sometimes a lady needs to do so. Left my coat at the hairdresser’s, mum made pics of it. No big deal, two times a year I go there. Even not brushed and combed for more than 7 days this time, I was a bit ashamed (mum should be too), but hairdresser’s is a very friendly and patient man! 🙂
Big deal is afterwards: I don’t want to go out if it is raining and I have no coat on! But I already told you: mum bought me an extra coat for these few occasions. I think I’m too beautiful to wear much clothes: in Belgium it rearly is too cold for aireladies. But it certainly is too wet for aireladies coming from the hairdresser’s… only then I prefer to be dressed! 😉

When we go to the hairdresser’s, we are in the neighbourhood to pay a visit to my family! I like that very much! So I saw Sunny and It. It just became a mum of 9 beautiful babies, five weeks old now and already very activ and quite “big”  for their age, my mum says! 8 boys and 1 little lady. My mum thinks a certain Canadian mum will be a little jealous now! Why? Well, one of these puppies, one of the boys, goes to Canada to that Canadian mum. The lady especially comes to Belgium to get her furry aire-boy! But she is not here yet, she did not see the boys alive and kicking as my mum did! 😉

To comfort the Canadian mum a bit, It’s mum (she is also the human mum of my doggie mum Fun and a very lovely lady!) made some pictures of the boys and the little lady! And I am very proud that me, Kita, may show them to you! I’m a very proud lady and so I proudly present you my little cousins and niece from Airedale Terriers van ’t Asbroek! That’s my name too and I’m very proud of that! ❤
By the way: their mum It is in the pictures too! 🙂

Two ladies… ten years of age-difference!

Last wednesday afternoon – you know, when library mum comes home early – we went to the huge dogpark. We met lady Azeris again!

Grandma lady Azeris is 14 now and her dad told that she had been ill. If I understood it well this grandma had same problems as my grandpa. At once, she could not walk anymore… She got two kind of medecines and now she walks as before. Grandma’s and grandpa’s are strong.

But maybe she has to go in surgery for a kind of abscess that always comes back. She got pills for that to, something ‘anti’, and everybody hopes these pills will be enough to make the bad thing go away! Paws crossed!

Mum had the blinking thing and she says she made a sweet fototoot!

Cooking with Kita… part 9!

As I told before, I’m in a few businesses together with my mum: the footbottle-business… and also the cooking-business! Some days, the cooking-business is a very nice and rewarding one… The cooking-part is for mum and the patienting part is mine! But it pays!! 😉 🙂

Few days ago, we prepared lasagna with tuna. Mum thinks that is yummy but she does not make it often, not at all… Something is wrong with eating too much tuna. Not enough tuna in the sea anymore, grandpa explained me one day. He knew so much!

Anyway, we were cooking! Lots of things to prepare… lasagna sheets were put in the water! BUT… big news, I always get one too! One less that goes in the water… That’s the amusing part of the cooking mum says! Fototoot-comic prooves it and the video too! Mum always laughs a lot with the lasagna-situation. I don’t mind, I like it. 😉
When mum is in a good mood I can taste some green beans and tuna too… ❤

So we made the lasagna sauce. Nice smells but I could not see it very well and dad came to my help!! He got me high up to have a look in the cooking pan! That was nice! 🙂

In the end, the thing goes in the oven and my job is done! 🙂

This lady makes herself … useful!

As you know my mum is a library mum. When she is library mum, she is not at home. She also is my mum, then she is or at home or where-ever with me. But as you know she also is a cooking mum, me and she often cook together. Mum does not like cooking, but as you immediately understand I like cooking.:-) So does Chef Mauricee! He is much better cook then me and mum!

So sometimes I make myself useful. Surely in this case! Mum bought new pans. Pans to cook in! But the pans are wrapped up in big boxes. You can’t cook in boxes, that’s clear. Boxes have to disappear… If I’m lucky, mum agrees that I help to make disappear the big boxes! ❤ I make them “little”, that’s easier!

Few days ago I was lucky and very, very useful! Pics and movie prove it! 😉 Of course I needed a nap afterwards! …zzzzz…

Winterday… at the seaside!

Today we were at the seaside! A beautiful day it was after six days of grey clouds and rain…

I run a lot! Running business goes fine these days. 🙂
But listen to this! Since this morning, mum and me, we are together in a new business: footbottle! What I mean, wel footbottle! Others play football, we play footbottle. Mum filmed a part of it but her filmbusiness is not great: filming and footbottling at the same time does not function too good… 😦

This afternoon, we walked and looked at the birds…

Great times these seatimes! ❤

Run free, my friend Endora!… Run free!

Dear Endora

Today is a very sad day, again! It is not enough that my grandpa Lennox and my grand-uncle Pol were crossing to the Rainbow Bridge in a few weeks time… No, today, you, my dear friend Endora made also your journey to the Bridge! 😦

Tell me, Endora, who is going to give me some good advice about fashion? You, as an aire-lady and aire-queen of bandana fashion, had such a good female eye for that! With years and years of experience… Because in June you celebrated your 12th birthday.
Dear Endora, and I still can’t swim… Got my plane-ticket not in time for some of your swimming lessons and for a good playtime. You keep an eye on me when I’m in the water, will you?

You were such a lovely lady and grandma to all of us! Dusty and Chef Mauricee, they will be sad too and, oh my dogness… there only will be men on those great pictures!

My grandpa Lennox explained me very often that life at the Bridge is as wonderful as here. And he was a wise men, so I believe him! So enjoy the marvellous times over there! And Endora, watch over your furry and human loved ones down here, they will miss you terribly!

Run free, aire-lady Endora, run free! ❤

Big, big hugs from Belgian Kita

PS 1: Did you take your queen-coach with you to tour around,  and some of all those nice Australian flowers too?
PS 2: Will you please say hello from me to my grandpa Lennox? Thank you so much!

Yes, Yes!!!… Another one!

What does she say? She got me some new pills? What for? I am definitely not ill, mum! Forget it!

What is this all about? What is she saying? Every six months I eat this pill? This is a deworming treat? Not a pill? She is joking, my mum! 🙂 What on earth is ‘deworming’?
She shows me the little box. Hey, mum, did you see it too? That’s especially made for me, these deworming treats? They put an airedale on the box because I have to eat this? Cool! My dogness, that is really cool! ❤ I have to take this and show it to my friends!

No, Kita, you don’t eat the box, you eat a pill!

Come on, give me one of these cool-package-deworming-treats!
And can I get some of your fruit too? 😉

Today?… Exciting!

Very exciting day today!

Mum and dad and me (yes, grandpa!!!) went to see the human pup and her husband. He was busy and I had to bark for his attention before we could cuddle! Then we saw mum’s human pup: she was working too. She works in a very exciting place, my dogness! Yes, yes: she works in  a petshop! And in her shop, pets are allowed! That’s what they are called pet-shops for, she says! 😉

We visited and I inspected everything of course! Found something for cousin Islay too. All these good smells! And then, my dogness, I saw myself on a big bag of food! No, it was not me, but on the new bags of food of a certain brand, there now is … an airedale! Imagine that! We will get more famous now over here! Mum yelled a bit: Yihaaaaa! Pup and me were having fun for the fototoot! 😉

Then I met a new little friend: a bunny. Sweet thing! I also met two other doggies! Petshop, remember? ❤

The part I did not like too much was the trying of an outfit… In a few weeks I’m going to the hairdresser’s and mum remembered in time that we go to my French friend too! I don’t like to run in the rain, she finally knows, my mum. And only one coat is not enough, there is always one in the washing machine. Mum says I’m a dirty lady when I play… 😦

In the end, I saw the funniest thing ever… but we have no pics… 😦

When we got home, I ate my dinner and took a very long nap! Exciting and tiresome! 😉 Got so many pics, I can not choose… maybe I should show them all this time… 😉 If mum agrees of course… she might say it is boring… 😉

Run free, granduncle Apollo!… Run free!

Dear grand-uncle Apollo

Yes, I know, I should say uncle Pol, that is what the friends and family say… But this is a special occasion, isn’t it?
13 seems not to be your lucky number… I told my friends all about you and your zipper and all the prices you won in september when you got 13 years old. 🙂 They know about you in 102 countries. They all think about you and your journey now!!!

I write you to say goodbye to you. And I have to ask you something too, even two things! First of all: will you please say hello to my grandpa Lennox, there at the Bridge? Think he will like that!

And then: you will watch a bit over your loved ones, will you? Your mum and dad and the rest of your aire-family at ’t Asbroek? Surely the little ones, only a few weeks old? They all must be very sad these days, I know the feeling, you know!

But most of all: grandpa told me that the Bridge is a good place to live for ever, so enjoy it, uncle Pol! Run free!

Big hugs from your little niece Kita

PS Mum sends you the pics of your 13th birthday!
