An almost decent lady has a… breakfast-rendez-vous!

Mum, when do we leave? Is my fur alright? I was a bit impatient this morning! I had this breakfast-rendez-vous with Ernie, the Irish champ! Remember, the one who thaught me to fly! Finally off we went. With the car of course, that’s why mum and dad came too! 😉

We went to a place near the river Scheldt. No, no, not at home, up the river for about 16 kms (9,9 miles). There is a nice place to have breakfast. Ernie is a great guy, he is almost 9 now and he turns into a grandpa! Go figure: he fell asleep during breakfast! 😉

Afterwards we did a nice walk along river Scheldt. River here is smaller than in Antwerp! 😉 The men (Ernie and the 2 dads) went first. Everything safe? We ladies followed! (me and the mums). 😉
We saw street art too! Mum loves street art, I was more interested in the grass!

And then it started raining. We were all wet! My fur is waterproof: I am always “bien coiffée”. But mum had one of those “bad-fur-days”, hahaha! 🙂

At home, I had my nap, of course, after all these events, like a decent lady. (Mum often says I’m not decent enough, imagine that!) 🙂

Busy saturday… with fashionshow!

What a busy saturday!!!

1. Kita-Ten-Miles-running on the beach…. Tiring, that’s to understand for everybody. 😉

2. At noon: visit at the restaurant with mum and dad! Got a bully stick, me… a hard one! ❤ Weary too!

3. Big walk in the neighbourhood wit very, very big people… I’m curious, and that gets me tired too! 😉

4. “Coiffure”-time, mum said when we came home. pppffff… on that blue table… 😦

5. Fashionshow and fototoot with my new bandana… maybe humans don’t call me boy anymore! 😦  Fototoots need concentration… yes: tiring too!

6. I need a nap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz… for the rest of the day, please!!! 😉

Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitaaa!… klikklikklikklik!… tut tut tuuuuuuuuuuuuut!

Very often mums and dads in the huge dogpark and on the beach ask my mum how it comes that I (mostly) am very good in showing up when called! Mum says: training and she always talks about Pavlov too! I don’t know that dog and what he has to do with it!

This time, I’ll give you my version of the facts… 😉

When I was only a baby, mum called me with a higher voice: Kiiiiiiiiitaaaaaa… and I went to see her! Oh yes, if I went there very quickly, I got a treat! A little kibble of my breakfast or dinner!

Other doggies got yummie treats… When I was a teenager, I learned that you could act as you wish in stead of running when you hear: Kiiiiiitaaaa….! First result: other treats, but very small ones. So, I practiced again the “deaf girl”.

But then there was Lucien’s mum: she made a nice noise when the little boy did something wrong! I liked the sound and always went to see what happened. Go figure! Few weeks later my mum had that funny thing too…. She clicked or kind of ringed the bell and I always went to see her! I’m too curious, me! 😉 And best part, the nice noise always was accompanied by a treat! 🙂

But the klikklik-thing was rather soft and sometimes I was far away. So mum bought a whistle. She did klikklik and tut tut tuuuuuuuut at the same time. If I went there when I heard the two noices: two treats. Soon mum only used the whistle-language AND very good treats! Dried chicken!
The farther away I am, the faster I get back when the whistle-language is used… Yes, when whistle is used I ALWAYS get a treat!

And better: every mum and dad is jealous of me and my mum! We are a real team, you know! As a full grown lady, most of time, I check if my mum is all right and go back to her without her calling me? Treats too? Not always, but often…

Video shows it all! It is long though… with a blooper in the end!

PS Of course, there are bloopers! 😦 But only one on about 30 times, mum says… I even came back with my shark!

Big disillusion… shark is gone!

Last saturday morning I walked around with a fish, on the beach! Remember? Appeared to be a shark! A catshark or dog fish. I was all thrilled when mum explained that to me! It’s a pity grandpa Lennox is not here anymore so I could bluff about it. I’m not the little one anymore! 😉

On sunday morning we went back to the beach. From the moment mum got me off the leash, I ran like a rocket to the shark-place. I waited for mum and she saw it too: no shark on the beach… Maybe in the water? I took my chances and went for a look. I went all the way to a “beach-island”. There was no shark! 😦 I had a wet belly for nothing… Mum called me back, could not stay to search! 😦

Mum’s red thing did taktaktaktak…taktak… I picked the pics for a pics-story! 😉

Bravo!!!!… We did support!

The Antwerp ten miles: part 3!

This afternoon we still were at the seaside: you remember: the Houdini-situation! But mum says we need the tv-typing-machine to support two of her colleagues! One of them is Fien’s mum! Fien is a doggiefriend.
So first I was sending a pic and an encouragement, before they left. And then I subscribed to get a message on the black talking box of mum to know what Fien’s mum was doing!

Fien’s mum did great! She run the ten miles (16 kms) in about 1 hour and 15 minutes: that’s what the black box said! I think I could not do it… and let’s not talk about my mum, she even wouldn’t think about it! 😉

Congratulations, mum of Fien!

PS You see me in the pics of the tv-typing-machine? 😉

A prey, again!!!… And even more than a wet belly!

Raining! It’s raining. But me (when I have lots of curls) and my mum, we do not mind! We go out, before breakfast! 😉 But the new red thing does mind, so mum said that the old blinking thing would accompany us! And that was a good idea. Today old blinking thing is my friend! 😉 It worked and… i can show you something quite adventurous!

So we went out early this morning! 🙂 ❤ Nobody, really nobody, on the beach! Except me and my mum! That is fun!!! I can run far, she does not call me every second! ❤
So, when I was far away, something came out of the sea with the upcoming tide. I start to know everything about tides, these days: at sea and at the river Scheldt! I was sniffing and mum came to have a look! Was proud about my prey! 😉 🙂
Mum said I could play but not eat it! So, I run a bit! Crazy mum, it is breakfast-time! Going to try and eat it, whatever she says! Ohohoh! 😦
End of the fun! 😦 Mum took my prey and threw it back in the sea! 😦
And me? I went after it! I completely forgot I do not like a wet belly! Did not find my prey! 😦 And then I realised my wet belly! 😦
No, mum, I’m not happy now, only will produce a half smile for your pic! 😉

PS A detail for the animal-lovers we all are: fish was already dead when I found it!!!

PPSS A friend from facebook thaught us I played with a shark!!! http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small-spotted_catshark

Mum, mum! Look!… They followed us!

Today we did the tric of Houdini! We disappeared! At least, that’s what we were thinking…

What I mean? Off we went, to the seaside! But… mum, mum… look! They followed us! And they painted the big new houses (tents) in blue and red! And there is food too here! Mum, where is the beach and the sea? Is that gone too, like my little dogpark?

No, Kita, we go there!

Mum, at least there are no fences here! Okay, I’ll run my ten miles on the beach and you do your ladies walk for a few kilometers! Is that a deal! Mum is smiling! So am I! And I run, believe me! Mum made a video of my miles <3… and pics of our followers too! 😦

Mum, will we go to the blue big house tomorrow? And to the food? So that I can tell Monty, Winnie, Taffy and Molly about it? She says not yes, my mum, but she not no either! That might be a good sign! Anyhow! There is the beach and the sea! 😉

Antwerp ten miles and marathon… part 2

Evening walk in our neighborhood. Mum is lucky to have me, that’s as clear as water! And she is lucky I have a good nose and I’m a good inspector. Without my nose we would have been completely lost this evening! Toilet-houses everywhere! Lots of new fences, streets are blocked! Red pedestrianlights for nothing because cars aren’t allowed anymore! My dogness! 😉 Insane!

How come? ! Told you yesterday: next sunday 45 times 1000 humans come to run here in Antwerp. Ten miles or a marathon or the ladies run (5 kms) or the kids run. That has to be prepared! Two full weeks are necessary. Lot of men start at 8.00 in the morning and go on till it gets dark at night. What a job!!! Result? We hardly recognise our neighborhood! 😉

But my friends will see in the pics that we think international in Antwerp! 😉 Surely if you speak about food! Molly, Winnie, Monty and Taffy, you were very right about the food-business! But I think I cannot convince my mum… 😦
And as already shown: little dogpark is a disaster: it is called a village now. Near the dogpark there are even built ‘tribunes’ (bleacchers), that’s what mum calls the bizar things we saw.

Me? I was very happy to see that the huge dogpark was normal this morning! 🙂 I even chased some rabbits. ❤ And this evening I was very glad I got mum home safe! 😉 And in between? Zzzzzzzzzzz…

Antwerp ten miles and marathon: great! BUT … :-(

My dogness, mum, look at this?!! Who on earth did this? What does she say? Antwerp ten miles and marathon? Mum, who are they? Why can they destroy our dogpark? Space? They need space? At the other side of the crossing, with the other white big house they newly made, is place enough! She does not disagree, my mum! 😉 She can’t: it is just the truth! Can’t disagree with the truth! 😉

What, no off leash this morning? Mum, tell me who I have to bark to explain that this is not fair! All my little friends who are too small for the huge dogpark, can’t play for more than a week! Poor friends! 😦

What? Ten miles is sports? Running? Hahaha, that’s not for you mum, you hate running! It is more for me! I’m the running one of the two of us! Don’t tell me they will run around in this white new things? Oh, it’s the end of the running and near our house is the start of the running? On our way home mum shows me the humans only can run in the fenced area! That’s an idea I like! Red fences for humans! hahahaha! 😉
Well, I hope they enjoy their running and that my poor little friends can run again next week in a repaired dogpark!!!

What??? There will be 45.000 humans running! My dogness… Too crowdy for me mum! 😉 Ha, no disagreement? Again? Nice morning! 😉
