Breaking news!… Very exciting trip!

Ooooh, I really want to tell this to the whole world! I did something very new! I’v been in the car, on trams, on trains, in busses, on metros… I was thinking I knew everything! So: no!!! 😦

Today me and mum had a splendid idea and we only could have it today! It is not possible otherwise! Now you are curious, aren’t you? 😉

Today it was the day of the Antwerp Marathon and Antwerp 10 miles! This morning when we came from the huge dogpark we had to watch the Maraton: could not cross the street to go home! It was raining though! 😦

This afternoon, for the afternoon walk: we went to take a look at the 10 miles. But that’s not what we did! We crossed the river Scheldt on a boat! I’ve never been on a boat before! How come? Normally there are no ferries on the river Scheldt. But today about thirty at fourty thousand humans had to cross to come to the left bank for the miles. And tunnels were not available: cars forbidden, today tunnels were for the runner’s. So, there were ferries! Not far from our home! 🙂

Mum said: come on girl, to the city it’s not too crowded, let’s go! Enjoy your maiden trip!
I did! 🙂 ❤ I was the star on the boat! 😉

Tonight everything is dirty and services are cleaning with full power… 😦

Showtime!… Citytrip with fototoot!

Well, today I was very proud of myself and not only because mum was proud of me. No, I just was very proud about myself and my manners and our citytrip! 🙂

We went in town, in the old city with all the shops. Of course with my new collar and leash! 😉 Mum thought it started badly! Not me! We went to the metro. When we got on it, a little doggie started barking 8 rows before us, a JRTerrier, mum says. He kept barking all the way. I lay down, looked around and really got bored of all the barking, as did the humans. Little one was stubborn and a disgrace to the terriers! So I produced just one low bark (mum was displeased!) but… the barking of the little one stopped! Had to show who is the king of the terriers and he understood! Humans all pleased with my help! ❤ Mum had a good laugh – afterwards of course!

Then we went to the shop with the cotton and colours and stuff. Mum calls it Veritas. The kind lady was there! The one who helped to choose the airedale colours a time ago. She recognised me: of course she did! 😉 Mum asked if we could fototoot! Oh yes, of course, she said! Take your time! We did! I wanted to be alone in the pics without all the buying humans… my storypage is about doggies, not humans, you see! 😉 Although there are exceptions, I admit! 😉

And then we came home on foot! All the way! A long way! Long walk and long fototoot! Explanations are with the pics! Although I have to say it myself: I was a very good fototootmodel today! I’m proud of myself! 😉

Ppppfff!… This one is leaving!

Okay, mum… I understand we have a CopyKita in the home and pots with Kita’s and more of that stuff… but really: this is going too far! 😦

How on earth did you get the idea to get a cat in our household??? Oh, it is not for our house! Now, I hear you talking with some common sense! 🙂
Yes, I understand! I have to be friendly with this cat who’s name is “Half negen” (=half past eight) because it will leave soon… otherwise… 😉

In the end, I might like this Half Negen! ❤ Quite calm and friendly… Leaving? Are you sure?

Me? … Castle inspection day!

When the weather is nice… strange things happen on the beach… When we go there in the morning, on the beach have appeared big mountains and digged rivers and … 🙂

Mum calls them sand castles. She says human puppies do that… My dogness, why don’t they just run and play, the human puppies? You don’t see a lady making those things. 😉

Anyway, I had to inspect them of course, all those castles! One was very special! ❤
Mum says it’s a labyrinth. Mum, what do you mean: a babyprint?

A labyrinth, Kita, a labyrinth!!!

Whatever! What is it? Oh, when you go in, you don’t get out easily? Oh, is it that special thing our library-friends of the Netherlands love so much! I’ll go in and inspect it! 🙂
Mum, I turn in circles… How do I get out? 😉
I just jump and walk over it… this is simple! 😉

Newsflash!… My new comic is online here!

Hello guys, we have holidays… we have time to publish our new comic! Click on the pics and read the story under the pics… 🙂
We release a little video too! Me is in the publishing-business today. That’s what my mum called it! 😉

Hahahaha!… Two mums scared to death!

Few mornings ago… morning walk near river Scheldt…

There we meet Angie (a Lakie I think). There is a little place near the river Scheldt where little and grown up humans play basketball or football. Normally a lady keeps on the leash over there. But early morning, sometimes little doggies play there of the leash: baskethumans are still sleep! 🙂

So I met Angie and her mum and… we could play a bit. Two terriers together? Square in mischief, the mums said afterwards. 😦

At some moment Angie went up the dike… near the Scheldt… Of course I followed! We went down at the other side: inspection requierd of course!
Out of sight of the mums! 😉
They got on the dike too of course but we already disappeared! Hahahahaha!

Angie and I went down all the way to the Scheldt! No problem, I explained to ‘little’ Angie, it is low tide! I know about these things, you see! 🙂

We run down there and enjoyed the view! I said to Angie not to swim to the yellow buoy. Of course, I don’t like to swim! 😉 We really were having fun! ❤

Then I heard the whistle language! Oh, and mum blow with force! So I looked for my way back up the dike and Angie followed! We got up the dike and arrived  all merry and smiling! 🙂 Soooo proud of my new inspection business! 😉
But the mums were not smiling or proud about us  at all! 😦 I got my whistle treat all right, but with lots of explanations about low tide, and dangerous silt (with dirty oil in it) and getting stuck and… scared mums and… 😦
Okay mum, what is silt? Oh, I have it on my paws now?

Well, paw plunger did great work as you can see! 😉

The only catastrophy in the end? Mum had no red thing and no black speaking box! We went back in the afternoon to make pics of the place of the crime! Mum, who is Crime? Me? Some days? I don’t get the picture, mum! I’m lady Kita Van ’t Asbroek… 🙂 Can I get of the leash and go down again? 😉

NO, NO, NO!

A real lady eats with… a fork!

Since a long time I asked mum to teach me! Since grandpa said I can’t eat as a real lady should! 😦

So I want to learn it, really, I want to learn it! I want to eat with knife and fork, as my mum does! Did my grandpa Lennox? No! But he was not a lady, he always said! hahaha! 😉

So, finally mum understood and we took the first step: I started to learn to eat with a fork! Think it is easy enough! But mum says we never start eating with fork and knife! NEVER, she says. Okay, just for now, I’ll take that for granted: I’ll eat with a fork! 🙂 ❤

Mum, and a spoon? Next lesson? She is not of the quickest, my mum… I don’t need so much lessons, I’m a quick learner… But I know: a lady has to be patient… 😉
To be continued…

Feast-day?… Gotcha Day!

Tomorrow is the 21st of March! That’s an important day! Really! Even my grandpa said so! It is Gotcha Day!

But we celebrate already today, mum says. Tomorrow she is library-mum, you see.

1. We = me, and dad and mum, went to the huge dogpark: always fun! 🙂 By the way: who is the politest girl of the very huge dogpark when treats are involved? Have a look! 😉
2. I got a new toy! A little squeeking tire-man… Always fun too… 🙂  untill I chewed a hole in it and then I had to give it back to mum! 😦
3. I got a nice bully stick in stead. Mum said she was “prepared”. Prepared for what? 😉

So I had a nice day and I’ll show you some pics of today and of 5 years ago! Oh yes: and the movie of the chewing… grandpa would say that chewing is boring for a movie! I want to show it: it is my Gotcha Day after all! ❤

A parcel???… And not for me???

What? A parcel? Came with my friend the postman? Yes, he is one of my best friends in the building, although he always says “he” talking about me… 😦

Mum, is that real? This parcel is not for me? I’m the very famous lady in this house, you know! Not you! 😉

What’s in it? Beautiful things, she says… Okay, let’s have a look. It really is beautiful: mum puts it on the table-chest… Can have a sniff, but I can not touch! Okay, I’ll play with my very old own cloth which was a bag once… 😉

There is even more coming from down under? I can sniff! Is that for the table too? No, it is what? Magnetic? Never heard about that guy! Why does she laugh?
Yes, put them down here, I will fix it at night, when you are asleep! No? High up? Is that more “sure”? Okay, I like the birds though! ❤

Thank you very much, friends down under! ❤ 🙂
