Grandpa Lennox says… not to worry too much!

Friday… so mum is at home and dad was out, working. Mum seldom takes the two of us together for a walk. That only happens on fridays! Grandpa barked she should take the blinking thing with her to show the world he is still on his feet and walking! That was grandpa the macho talking. Me and mum, we smiled and mum took the blinking box. 🙂

Off we went, to the park. Not to the dogpark. Dad says grandpa shouldn’t act too macho anymore because he only can get his doping every 4 weeks, so he should not use all his forces at once. In the dogpark, well, if he starts playing with the other dogs and he collapses, that would be no good! Grandpa disagrees: he says he never collapses… Mum smiles and says: that’s our grandpa speaking! He’ll never learn… 😉

We made a nice walk, and mum did a lot of filming. Not the whole walk of course, just a part of it. Grandpa is still sniffing all the way! Mum says he reads the news in his daily paper! Sometimes he commands me to come and read too! I always obey: don’t want him to get annoyed with me, keep that privilege to mum, hahahaha! 😉

When we were on the way back home, we had a nice rest in the daisies-field. Mum took some pics and for once, grandpa did not mind! We behaved nicely, she said! She’ll have some nice memories, later, she said!
Grandpa barked that mum already said that before I came… and that he is not gone yet, not today anyway! 🙂 ❤

Enjoy the pics and don’t get dizzy looking at the video… hihihi!

This aire-lady gets smarter… thanks to TnT!

Oh, my dogness! They are great! They are smart! They are kind! They are so helpfull!

Who? How do you dare to ask this question? TnT of course! Who is TnT, my grandpa asks… Grandpa, you’re getting old, I already told you this, but I tell you again!
Tnt are Tarquin and Tyee, my Oklahoma friends! There is Karma too, who can climb in trees

and Cricket, who pees like me sometimes. But, as they say, back to where we were!

These smart guys explained about the candid camera!! For all those who missed it and who want to know what candid is… here is their answer to my question! You always can count on these guys!

Tnt:
“Kita, candid pictures are secret pictures. Candid is like secrets stuff you don’t want the other humans to know . . . just your mum or Grandpa Lennox or maybe no one else at all.

You are being candid when you take an apple from the bowl without permission while no one is looking. You are not being candid if you eat that apple in front of your mum, though. Hiding under the bed to eat the apple is candid. Hiding outside behind a bush to eat the apple is also candid. Getting caught is not very candid.

When you are being a spy to investigate new stuff like a package your mum got in the mail, you are candid if your humans aren’t around somewhere.. Candid happens when you are secretly following a varmint along the riverbank or down a train. Try not to bark, though. That’s gives away your position and you are no longer candid. In the US we call it being “made.”.

Your mum can take secret pictures of humans. However, she can’t take them of you and Grandp Lennox because you always know she is going to take your picture if she has her blinking box with her. That’s the way Mums are.”

Thank you so much, guys! Hugs, Kita

What about… 61 times?!

This morning mum and me went into town, we went to the market on the marketplace! You remember I told you that there are not many airedales in Belgium? And that I often feel as a celebrity because people always look at me and give comments? When my coat is very curly, it is incredible… sometimes it bothers mum really!

Mum says she needs a candid camera to film all the reactions! I don’t understand that. I have to ask some “esplanations” at TnT, they know everything about ‘candid’, I saw on the tv-typing-machine! Guys, can you “esplain” me, please?

Anyway, just for fun, mum started counting… Counting all the times she heard people make a remark about me, in Dutch, in French, in English and even in German, while we passed. Guess what? In less than one hour time, she counted 61 remarks! I asked grandpa if that is a lot or not. He says it is very much, even he can’t count that far! he says he is happy to be a labrador!

And then I don’t mention the two times, people spoke to us… and asked information about ‘that breed’… Mum explained a lot and I waited patiently, as a lady should do!

Mum had no black-talking-box and no blinking box, so today I choose one old pic…

Thursday… with colours, flowers and… big trees!

It’s a coloured day, my mum says… my mum is not only my mum, but she also is a library-mum. Today one of the students brought my mum some flowers because she is loved as the library-mum. That does not surprise me, I love my mum too! 😉 Flowers are very beautiful, mum showed them to me!

After dinner we went out for a walk. We did not enter the dogpark because there was that doggie mum is a bit afraid of (me too, a little bit, doggie pinched me in the buttocks few times one day and I did not like it!!). So we did a nice walk. I don’t mind, new smells and so on always interest me!

Then we met the little nuts-house with all the colours! Mum likes this kind of streetart which makes streets less dull! We already did fototoots with others too.

Kita op… street-art-pad…

We also saw two very, very big trees. Mum says the picture is too small for me and the whole tree! 😉

Now I need a nap, of course! 🙂

About daisies and… doping! Again!

Mum, listen, I know you have lots of work, mountains of work, but listen, you promised to show me the fototoot with the daisies. The fototoot I did not want to look at you!

What do you say? First to the green clothes people? Of course not with me, but with grandpa Lennox. This morning his back paws weren’t working anymore. Mum had to help him out of his bed because he wanted his breakfast badly. Of course: he lives for his breakfast and dinner, my grandpa. It’s only his paws that bother him, he always says, not his stomach. So this evening, off to the green clothes with him. He got an injection again, pure steroids. Mum hopes he will be ready for the Olympics again, tomorrow…

Then we went to the dogpark, not many friends when it is raining! Back home! Work again??? 😦  No, mum, you promised: after the green clothes! She says: okay! 😉 Lots of pics and I was able not to look at mum. That was difficult, but I did it. I only looked at the daisies! I was pleased with myself, mum was less pleased with me! Hahaha… that happens… 😉
