See, sun and … walks…

This weekend we were at the seaside. Me and mum (yes, grandpa, I know!) and dad, we were at the seaside. Me and mum we made a lot of walks, very early in the morning. To avoid the crowd, mum says… Never met Crowd, at least I did not recognize him! 😉 But we met nice doggies, a lot of them… They also came very early in the morning. They don’t like Crowd neither, that’s what I think. 😉

We also found a new beast at the beach… but I could not touch it, mum said. Well, I even did not try! This lady knows when to obey: beast was bizar! 😦

And last but not least, we were fototooting my shadow, hihihi! Nice sits and treats, all for the shadows… 😉 Yes, mum, I agree: it’s quite fun on the beach, even at high tide and even without Crowd! 🙂

PS And… this lady was a bit embarrassed to meet a nice lab-sir, having my beard ful of sand… gggrrrr….

Sunday… ice cream day!

Another lazy sunday… An afternoon walkie… There was this car with a guy who sells ice cream. So mum bought one for dad and one for her! Where’s mine, mum? You really forgot me again?
Yes, nice try, I know I only get the last bit of the ice! I know? What? You only eat one and me, I get two little jars to finish? Oh yes, now if I think about it… maybe I’m the luckiest! Okay mum, I forgive you to have forgotten about me :-)… Three jars would even have been better than two though… 😉 Grandpa learned me to count, you know. 😉

But it is okay, I’m fine with two jars to finish! 🙂 ❤

Like you to meet fighter and survivor… Mimi!

This morning on the beach, well I found a new business: the activity-stimulating-business! Yes, yes! What? You don’t know what I mean? It’s rather simply though, i’ll explain it yo you as you do at a three years old… that’s what my mum says in these situations if somebody does not understand her and she thinks it is simple! Ask her human pup! hahahaha!

This morning we met Mimi and her dad. Mimi is a very nice and friendly two years old girl, a Dutch shepherd. Dear Mimi has been very ill and spent a whole month in the doggies hospital near Liège. 😦  Four times the green clothes thought she would die within a few hours, but she was fighting very hard and… she is still here. She’s home for 2 weeks now and she has to regain force and muscles, her dad said. She needs to move a lot! 🙂
That’s why her dad brought her at the seaside for a holiday of three weeks. He walks her several times a day. But she needs more incentives to use more all her muscles.

Luckily this lady understands the language of my friend Mano (now at the Bridge with grandpa) and I decided to try to get her moving… Well, that’s what they call the activity-stimulating-business… it worked a bit and her dad was very happy! 🙂 ❤

Newsflash!!!… Another family-member on board at Hexe’s place

Who is who?

Dear James

Well, I often tell my friends my family is big and very famous! You prove it again! I saw it immediatly when mum showed the pics on her tv-typing-machine! That’s one with Van ’t Asbroek-blood in his veins! You too have that typical Van ’t Asbroek-grin when you smile and you are happy. Your pedigree is the paper-work-prove! Your grandpa Sundance (Sunny for the friends) is my grand-grand-grandfather! No kidding! 🙂 ❤

I’m told you are a rescue like my grandpa Lennox and you are three years old too, just like my grandpa when he arrived with mum and dad. Grandpa used to say: that are the best buddies: the rescues of three years old! I suppose you are way smarter than my grandpa, being an airedale! hahahaha. No, grandpa, I don’t want to offend you! 😉

And believe me: you fell with your butt in the butter, guy! That’s a Dutch expression, cousin James, and it means that you are one of the luckiest guys ever! You came in the family of my good friend Hexe! She is a wonderful girl, ❤  I met her in Cologne a few months ago! 🙂

Dear cousin, please be a worthy member of our Van ’t Asbroek-family, now that you are on my stories-telling-page and on The Book of the human Faces where are as many doggies as humans! 😉 But surely because you live now with your new family! 😉 By the way: this Van ’t Asbroek-lady is very cat-friendly! Take me as an example over there, will you??!!!
And my dear cousin, enjoy your new life and your new family! Could you please write me some times to tell me the latest news?

Big hugs and love from your cousin! Wet kisses to all members of your family too and an extra hug for Hexe.

Kita Van ’t Asbroek

PS My mum got some pics of you, I show them here to make you a famous family-member! 😉 🙂

Warm, lazy days of … summer…

Past days were too hot for me and mum. We don’t like those temperatures, not at all… Very lazy days for us with few little bits of news…

1. Mum is creating another beast… one that is not to stay… 😉

2. I played a funny hide and seek… I saw mum’s cartoon… see for your self in the pics…

3. Going out for dinner on a nice terrace… got my own “plat” and drink! Great place!

4. Strolling around in stead of running and chasing rabbits.

5. Having a lot of naps…

Busy? Yes!… Wood(pecker)-business! :-)

I have so much to do these days! Really! Lots of trees need help! So I’m in the wood-business a lot these days! Even in the woodpecker-business! If it wasn’t for my mum who always wants to go home too soon, I could make my businesses even bigger! 😉

In the middle of the huge dogpark are some trees. After the storms of a few days ago, some branches wanted to feall down, but it just did not work that well… No problem big guys, I’l help you a little paw, no a little bite! 😉

PS To reassure everybody: I do NOT eat the wood, I repeat: I do NOT eat the wood! I spit it all out! See the movie!! I am a smart lady, remember?! 😉

Bit special… trees getting out of their coat??

One of these days, when we came back from the huge dogpark, we took another way… we often do. Mum says that this lady needs variation… I don’t know… Anyway, that time we had some variation, yes!! 🙂

We met trees… that is not special: this part of town is the green part of town, we have lots of trees here! But… these trees were getting out of their coat! And if you ask me, they had a bit of difficulties to do so. Yes, indeed, this friendly lady got them some help! 😉 I even barked at mum I needed more time when she said we should go home…
You know mum: stubborn as always: we went home! 😉 Trees are still trying to get out their coats, I think…
